2) #HRes100 “Expressing support for the Iranian people's desire for a democratic secular & nonnuclear Republic of Iran, & condemning violations of human rights and state-sponsored terrorism by the Iranian Government,” was submitted with an impressive 165 original co-sponsors.

3) That was enough to draw the ire of the #Iran'ian regime. Immediately, all state-run media, & senior officials started attacking Members of the U.S. Congress for this bi-partisan and extremely popular resolution.

4) Regime particularly attacked Reps. for mentioning @Maryan_Rajavi’s #FreeIran10PointPlan that calls "for universal right to vote, free elections, a market economy &advocates gender, religious, ethnic equality, a foreign policy based on peaceful coexistence &a nonnuclear #Iran."

5) The Fars News Agency associated with the IRGC described @Maryam_Rajavi's #FreeIran10PointPlan as an “anti-Iran plan” of “a terror grouplet.” The regime’s Mehr News Agency also described Mrs. Maryam Rajavi as being “despised by the Iranians.”

6) On February 10, 2023, quoting Nasser Kanaani the spokesperson of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, as reported by Tasnim News Agency, associated with the IRGC, “The support of 165 Members of U.S. Congress…once again shows deep bonds of America with terrorism.”

7) And finally on February 11th, in a major speech on the anniversary of #Iran's anti-dictatorial revolution, Tehran’s president Ebrahim Raisi, attacked the U.S. Congress, and said he was “surprised” to see them siding with “a terrorist group.”

8) Friday prayer gatherings have been used by regime to denounce @Maryam_Rajavi & her movement, with chants of “Death to the MEK,” from the podium. This clearly shows Tehran’s fear of this org., which has been, for decades, the most organized, dedicated movement for democracy.

9) The regime has since called on its lobby groups in the US, to attack #HRes110 in US Congress. Several newly formed groups put together in recent months with deceiving names purporting to support the protests in #Iran, also joined the attack campaign to help the regime.

10) These newly formed groups actually attack the victims of this regime who have been paying the price for freedom over the past four decades. Such groups' work is closely aligned with the leftovers of the deposed dictatorship of the Shah & its notorious SAVAK.

11) Since early this week, Tehran has gotten these groups to, often illegally, flood Members of Congress with group emails and harassment calls, while urging others to do the same to communicate the same propaganda of the regime against the #MEK or @Maryam_Rajavi

12) One example is an identical email, with identical subject line, sent out in group emails copying 400 House staffers. And exactly the same content is copied and sent to the same staffers from dozens of other dubious emails, whose identity & whereabouts are unknown.

13) Tehran does not want attention on the most organized opposition movement in #Iran, especially in the midst of #IranRevolution & wants to have a free hand to repeat #1988Massacre, when it murdered 30,000 political prisoners who were associated with Mrs. Rajavi & her movement.

14) Thousands of @Maryam_Rajavi's supporters are now in jail under torture, some on death row, because they have been in the forefront of the protests in #Iran over the years, especially since September 2022. Khamenei has also waged a demonization campaign against the movement.

15) @Maryam_Rajavi has been the prime target of regime’s terrorism. An Iranian diplomat brought a bomb to target Mrs. Rajavi in a 100,000 strong gathering in Paris in 2018, a plot that was neutralized, the diplomat was convicted of terrorism & sentenced to 20 years imprisonment.

16) Tehran is highly troubled by #HRes100's citation of regime’s terrorism against @Maryam_Rajavi and the #FreeIran10PointPlan she has offered, which advocates a democratic, free, secular, and non-nuclear Republic Iran, in sharp contrast to the ruling theocracy.

17) The good news is, the number of co-sponsors of #HRes100 have been increasing since the attacks, as members of Congress can see the desperation of a dying regime. Nothing can stop a democratic & free republic #Iran devoid of any kind of dictatorships.
