As #ETHDenver '23 kicks off this week, now’s the time to check out all the events at the conference involving Polkadot parachains and other teams in the ecosystem👇

2/ @peaqnetwork announced the release of peaq control, a dapp that works as the command center for devices, robots, and vehicles and acts as a portal to Web3 and the Economy of Things.

3/ @pendulum_chain is officially live on the Polkadot mainnet, and its native token PEN is now available on @NovaWalletApp and @wearetalisman.

4/ @t3rn_io has introduced t3rn executors which work to facilitate transactions between the t3rn blockchain and other blockchains outside of Polkadot.

5/ @SubsocialChain has introduced Post4ever, a way to protect tweets and other digital content from being censored or removed from Twitter by copying them to the Subsocial blockchain.

6/ @Unique_NFTchain announced a collaboration with @Subsquid to provide Unique Network with dev-friendly advanced data tooling features, including an indexing toolkit to extract and process on-chain data.

7/ @Kiltprotocol has introduced AssetDIDs and public credentials live on KILT Spiritnet. AssetDIDs work as permanent identifiers of any digital asset which allows anyone to link public credentials to any asset on any smart contract or any blockchain.

8/ @AstarNetwork announced the Astar Peers Program, aimed to incentivize community members to run nodes in regions that currently have no nodes, a process that will help ensure Astar increases decentralization.

11/ @origin_trail has brought its multichain AI-grade Knowledge Assets to Polkadot, helping #Web3 teams leverage the benefits of the Decentralized Knowledge Graph within their own blockchains.

12/ @MantaNetwork cofounder @Superanonymousk spoke to @cointelegraph about all things ZK as Manta continues to lead the space with on-chain privacy innovation.

1/ Everyone loves a roadmap, right? Well guess what — Polkadot founder @rphmeier has shared some exciting insights into proposals for a series of major upgrades.

2/ Asynchronous Backing will cut the block time for parachains down to 6 seconds from 12 and increase block space by 5-10x, hugely enhancing scalability.

This will increase the amount of work every chain can do AND optimize network performance, allowing scope for more parachains
3/ It’s estimated this will take the transactions-per-second capacity of the network to between 100k and one million without affecting security.

Asynchronous Backing could be ready for deployment on @kusamanetwork by the end of 2022 and then on Polkadot, pending audits & testing

1/ The Polkadot staking dashboard has seen some exciting updates since its launch. In the past month, there has been a big focus on nomination pools.

2/ Nomination pools are now fully supported in the staking dashboard and you can test-drive the feature on Westend and @kusamanetwork 🙌

The pools will soon be enabled on Polkadot and then the staking dashboard will be ready for you to create, join and manage pools
3/ All nomination pools are natively hosted on-chain and are part of the Polkadot runtime, so they are upgradable, secure, and fully embedded as part of the Relay Chain.
