They hurt trans people, 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 trans youth.

"Interpersonal micro aggressions" = transphobic comments made by schoolmates, family, neighbors, etc.
🔹School belonging, emotional neglect by family, and internalized self-stigma made a unique, statistically significant contribution to past 6-month suicidality.
🔹Suicidality = the risk of suicide, usually indicated by suicidal ideation or intent, especially a well-elaborated suicidal plan.
Congress proposed bipartisan bill expanding background checks, a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity gun magazines.
