The weirdest thing about the whole #GaryLineker and #bbc malarky is that folk are shocked that the beeb is biased. Ofcourse it's biased. Always has been.
Increasingly so with it's chair (a rabid Tory) and the overwhelming staff demographic of nepotistic public school chums. 1/
We're sold this vision of it being some positive holistic Britishness. The One Show spewinh royalist propoganda as Countryfile does the same for Tory farmers. It's comedy, while skirting with the odd bit of self deprication is overwhelming classist. You are the joke. 2/
It's a controller of the instrument and much like the Labour Party and NHS, people confuse what it could be, what it should be, with what it is.
Point out the hypocrisy as they platform Sugar, The Dragons and an array of vocal Tories all you want. They dont care.
3/
Sure, they've funded some great shows and having some aspect of public/educational television is a social good but it's always existed with a custodial air about it, claiming a neutral tone while exhibiting nothing like it.
It's a tool for the powerful.
4/
It's not your friend so stop acting like it.
OK, the 'cancel culture' hypocrisy is laughable, but the right similarly don't care if you point that out. Provided it serves them censorship suites them fine. They have no conscience and laugh at your weakness for possessing one.
5/
So please, dearest Anarchists, stop lamenting for a millionaire celeb and while we're at it stop wasting your time pointing out the self evident fascism of GBNews.
You want change, don't petition others to do ya bidding. Make your own media or share the work of comrades.

Anarchists don't equivocate when it comes to solidarity with the victims of oppression and hate.
We should recognise with nuance how existance is politicised and used to sow divide, and rather than allow this, it's our 2/
idiom to stand up and be active and vocal in protecting our communities from those who would do it harm.
Those who view consciousness of identity, space and place, as "Bourgeois/liberal distractions" so stand idle, show the reality behind their rhetoric. 3/
In our run from 1k -33k follows, the AF has developed a social media policy, formal and informal. This ranges from not kicking off with bambi accounts to no doxxing. We walk a line between individual and communal responsibilities 1/
and it's not always perfect.
Especially when you're prone to the odd spicey hot take and have a habit of taking the tankie bait.
We are tho, Anarchists. The admin are humans, and we long ago decided that it's best to maintain a personable manner, than be functionaries.
2/
I think some people don't like this, think it's shameful to anarchism, don't care for the memes and the bantz with our orgs, whatever, it's ok.
The internet is full of things you don't like and Anarchism, doesn't have leaders. Certainly not us, fuck vanguards. 3/
Eva Justin was born on 23 August 1909 in Dresden. She graduated from High School in 1933, the same year Hitler became Chancellor of Germany, and began to study to become a nurse at the University Hospital in Tübingen under Dr Robert Ritter. 1/
Robert Ritter (b. 14 May 1901) was at Tübingen completing studies in child psychology and “criminal inheritability” – the idea that people might, in modern understanding, have a genetic predisposition to ‘criminal behaviour’. 2/
In the 1930s, this field was heavily entwined with the eugenics and ‘racial purity’ pseudo-scientific political movements.
In 1936 Ritter was appointed head of the Racial Hygiene and Demographic Biology Research Unit, a division of the German Kriminalpolizei (Kripo). 3/
Young Loyalist lads in Belfast chucked one in a bus at a riot yesterday. The Loyalists are the UK nationalists who think Great Britain and the UK gov gives two shits about Northern Ireland. Which they don't. 1/
The other primary faction is the Republicans, who believe in a unified Ireland. Tensions have been ramping up since Brexit, the last week or so has seen nightly rioting in various parts of NI.
The first news or PM response was on night 9ish and only because a bus got torched. 2/
Stand with GRT (Gypsy, Roma and Traveller) folk against this horrendous bill.
Follow @ResistAntiTresp, share media, talk about it, hit the fucking streets.
1/
66% percent of British people aren't even aware that GRT communities are a recognised ethnic group and the rampant bigotry runs deep in our culture, not just on the street but in the papers and in the halls of govenance. 2/
There is a vast derth of authorised pitches to the tune of thousands on waiting lists, yet the PCSCB will make criminals of those without a pitch and threatens fines of £2500, 3 months prison ( Even deportation if they can).
This change from civil to criminal response means 3/
@XRebellionUK smash the windows of Barclay's Bank. It's a definite step for them and frankly it's dissapointing to see lots of "more radical than tho" having a pop at them becuase of their general aggy position towards liberals. 1/
If this was @FrontGreen or some such you'd be clapping along and saying right on.
We don't agree with XR on so many things, heck we've been downright hostile at times but the judgement over specific action should be on the action.
From my perspective the only issues here are 2/
It was done for the sake of theatre of awareness raising (rather than as a tactical decision or situational expression of rage) and that they didn't then scarpper instead choosing to remain and be arrested.
Frankly tho, the arresting works in their favour as it means it 3/
