The weirdest thing about the whole #GaryLineker and #bbc malarky is that folk are shocked that the beeb is biased. Ofcourse it's biased. Always has been.

Increasingly so with it's chair (a rabid Tory) and the overwhelming staff demographic of nepotistic public school chums.

Admin note re; Social Media Policy / Follows

In our run from 1k -33k follows, the AF has developed a social media policy, formal and informal. This ranges from not kicking off with bambi accounts to no doxxing. We walk a line between individual and communal responsibilities 1/ and it's not always perfect.

Especially when you're prone to the odd spicey hot take and have a habit of taking the tankie bait.

@XRebellionUK smash the windows of Barclay's Bank. The Red and Black isn't a "flag" in the same way as a national flag, it's symbolism and treatment are different.

No one cares if you burn a RnB. It's just some cloth.
No one takes an oath to it and it inspires no loyality.

Look, I didn't like Ashli Babbitt's politics, I laugh at the hypocrisy of the fash's actions yesterday and there is a degree of "oh well".

However it's utterly disgusting that so many comrades across the board are celebrating a police murder 1/ Two photos of Ashli Babbitt. In my experiance after major events in the US/turle Island, such as todays march in DC, there are days of debate and discussion across social media.

Not all of this is in bad faith and lot's of it is the fielding right leaning and liberal questions about Anarchism.

There are dozens of videos and social media posts where the right wing / Trump support are spewing venom at the cops for you know, doing cop stuff as they cycle back into the "we're the underdog" narratives now their man is heading out of office. 1/ They seem utterly ignorant that even as they carry on with themselves the police reaction is significantly less hostile than it was against similar "leftist" events.

We believe in prison abolition as one of the principles of Anarchism. It's a complex issue but one founded in "more compassion and support = a better happier society"

How we treat people we are "angry at" on a social level, says a lot about us. 1/ Norway's recidivism rate is 20%, prior to the reforms of the last 60's/70's, they had a punative system which saw recidivism in the 90 percentile for young offenders.

So now they are held up by liberals as the shining light of reform, compassion having proven results.

I want you to think about this.

@PortlandPolice allowed Proud boys to attack protestors with chemical weapons, shoot at people, attack them with batons and then protected them as they left before demanding that the protestors disperse.
1/ Now they have said they won't get involved between conflicts between "willing participants". This is to say "we won't stop racist organisations attacking those who protest them", despite the obvious fact that most protestors are liberal and much less violently minded.
