#Tigray had it all. We had Ahmad ibn Ibrahim & the Ottoman Turks/The Egyptians, Italians, Menelik, Fascist Italy, Haile Selassie, Mengistu. But this genocidal war on #Tigray is incomparable to any that hitherto occurred. Its design, scope, intent, & the execution of action plans

defines its sadistic uniqueness. It was cataclysmic & is ongoing. They decided & came to eliminate #Tigrayans as people. Despite the incalculable sacrifices paid in lives lost, ethnic cleansing, genocidal rape, starvation, millions of IDPs, materials destroyed, in the end as

it has always been, our enemies have come back with unrevealed vengeance, the impact we will eventually notice & intent to rule the land of #Tigray. As things stand, they're back in, watched by #TEGARU they had tried & still desire to eliminate. Those who have not left are still

occupying a sizable portion of #Tigray, whose people they are still massacring, kidnapping, raping & destroying the infrastructure and pillaging at will with a tacit agreement from @AbiyAhmedAli's regime. And those with authority in #Mekelle keep tweeting about the enemy, though

what is expected of them is to inform us on measures to deal with these criminal occupiers. We are post Pretoria/Nairobi. Given this as it may & as authorities in #Tigray inform us that they are working as required by #CoHA & following the modalities agreed in Nairobi, it is not

surprising to note a fissure evolving that could have been avoided for the sake of maintaining even transient unity. This state of affairs might very well be exploited by our enemies. And they will & they are. The brewing conflict that we see between the #TPLF, the main entity, &

the nascent organizations & other #TEGARU and the manner it is handled, doesn't have the potential to be constructive. The objective conditions are: #Ethiopia is getting rehabilitated by a major power, it is campaigning hard to stop #ICHREE in its tracks, #Tigray has signed for

Pretoria/Nairobi, people want peace, complete destruction of #Tigray, there is starvation, the #IROB & #KUNAMA feel their hopes are dashed (say it if they are not), parts of Northwest & #WesternTigray are under occupation their future status yet to be determined despite talks

about 'as per the constitution'. Yet we are witnesses to this simmering inter-organizational conflict providing a field day to our mortal enemies, the #Ethiopian and #Eritrean regimes. It is impossible to imagine that a work that is so transient can't be handled by the one that

negotiated it in as long as it doesn't harm the interests of the people of #Tigray? What is the rationale for the power grab? Why not wait to a future election & have your say? It would have been a service to the people of #Tigray have they joined the group, debated & waited for

another day. The transactional value that #TPLF is there to grab power & works against the interest of #Tigray is rather minimal if not negative. It might please many but it is a #Tigrayan organization that was once voted in & which can also be voted out by the people of #Tigray

if they so desire. The irony of it all is there are a lot of things that are fluid, the future is so uncertain & we cannot enhance the uncertainty by providing fodder to those who work for our demise. #Ethiopia is escalating its offensive. They are in #Tigray, & they are waiting

to harvest what disunity offers. They are & they will. @AbiyAhmedAli must win. That's his objective. In all this, the struggle of the people of #Tigray has revealed some relevant to note, the arrogance of the elite & its inability to communicate & resolve contradictions, glaring

weakness to interpret developments, failure even to consider a common front for national liberation & failure to act taking time & space into account for the sake of the people. As our people are lacking protection by #Mekelle and supposedly by #Ethiopia in all areas of occupied

#Tigray including Alamata, not helped by lack of info from #Mekelle on developments either, we can't afford to lose our unity, the last refuge. Have the feeling of backtracking. We cannot welcome this disaster as history is our witness, after all the.. @reda_getachew @ProfKindeya
