Jama also says that “the Hamilton police protect Nazism in our city and continue to target Black Muslim Palestinians”. In other tweets shared online, she has said that “police in Ontario have a record of arbitrarily killing babies”. 2/6

Jama’s speech goes beyond being merely offensive and creates actual danger for Jewish Canadians. She is telling people who may have grievances with Hamilton police that the Zionists are responsible. Hamilton has a Jewish federation and a number of “Zionist” synagogues. 3/6

Jama has meticulously scrubbed her social media of such content; including a post where she announced the boycott of a Canadian-Jewish CEO of a disability advocacy NGO (the CEO has no history of publicly "defending the Israeli occupation".) 4/6

Is the @OntarioNDP in on the cover-up? Did they willingly nominate someone who propagated antisemitism on social media, and then help her to hide the evidence? 5/6

These conspiratorial, antisemitic blood libels have no place in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. If @OntarioNDP sticks with Jama this will be a stark warning to Canadian Jews. 6/6
