How can I know if it’s my inner self speaking and not my ego when I am meditating? #meditation
Anything that speaks is your ego.
It can be a messed up and bruised ego sometimes.
It can be a cheerful and decisive ego sometimes. #meditation
Nevertheless, it is ego all the time.
The inner self or the AntarAtma as we call it in the Hindu scriptures does not participate in the chatter.
It is a silent smiling witness to all the chatter. #meditation
Sometimes, in your meditation, you may catch yourself smiling at all the chaos of your mind. That is a glimpse of the inner self. #meditation
If your objective is to discover clarity in your mundane life by meditation, it happens when the thoughts are settled and when the mind is quite free from agitations. But this is still a settled ego, and not the inner self. #meditation
You cannot miss the inner self when you are aware of it. It uproots you for good!

KĀLĪ
Of all the Hindu icons, Kālī is the most discomforting for most westerners! It must also be mentioned in all fairness that many Indians also find her iconography disconcerting. #SanatanaDharma#Hinduism #नव_संवतसर_2080
Ma kali is usually depicted dancing on the prostrate figure of Lord Śiva. She is black in colour with four arms. Her hair is disheveled and her tongue lolls out of her mouth. #SanatanaDharma#Hinduism #नव_संवतसर_2080
According to tradition, on this day Lord Brahma created the universe and is believed to have written everyone’s fate. This is why the festival marks the beginning of a new year.
The diversity of cultures in India is projected by different names of the same festivals in different states. Gudi Padva being no exception is known by various names in different states.
Its celebrated as Cheti Chand by Sindhis as on this day Jhulelal worshipped by the community appeared.
These festivals are meant to welcome the New Year. Its said that on this day, Brahma, to fulfill Vishnu's desire, created material cosmic worlds. #SanatanaDharma#Hinduism
Ishta Devta
According to common belief, each person has a favoured deity. That person can achieve success in his life by worshipping that ishta deva. Many people determine their presiding deity based on a horoscope. #SanatanaDharma#Hinduism#vedicastrology
The presiding deity of any person is determined based on the ritual performed before his / her birth. In this case, your favoured deity will be the one to whom you are attracted without any reason. #SanatanaDharma#Hinduism#vedicastrology
However, you can worship your favourite deity to get rid of planetary problems.
“Bhadra” in Sanskrit means “blessed, auspicious, fortunate, prosperous, happy”. Bhadrakali is a name/aspect of Kali, specifically Kali in Her benevolent, auspicious, protective mood, as opposed to Her more terrible moods of death and destruction, etc. #SanatanaDharma#Hinduism
Sometimes she is called Bhadra for short, in which case Bhadrakali, Bhadra, and Kali are all indeed the same. But there are actually multiple other Goddesses named Bhadra. #SanatanaDharma#Hinduism
One is a daughter of Chandra Deva; another is an Asuri by birth who married Kuber and became Queen of Yakshas. Bhadra is a fairly common name. #SanatanaDharma#Hinduism
Devi Durga Ji Mata signifies fierce war to conquer the evil. She represents bravery and pure soul. She represents the unconquerable spirit.
#Spirituality#vedicastrology #Hinduism
She represents high energy, inspiration and confidence. Those who worship her get these characters if their horoscopes are properly tuned. #Spirituality#vedicastrology#Hinduism
Those who have Sun and Mars well placed will find immense benefits by worshipping Durva Devi. She is called by different names all over India in different States.
