Russia, France, rebels & the death of Chinese in Central African Republic

Colleagues from ASIANOMICS found interesting news regarding the killing of 9 Chinese nationals in Central African Republic (CAR).
Updates are coming in.
Along with 9 killed, 2 were severely injured. The victims are said to have been working in a goldmine run by the UK Gold Coast Group.
Central government blamed rebels from “Coalition of Patriots for Change” (CPC). CPC declared its noninvolvement in this incident and accused the "Wagner" Group.

The CPC is made up of many small insurgent groups whose goal is to overthrow the central government.
France provides help to the rebels and whitewashes them in the media, since the current president of the CAR is strongly pro-Russian and “Wagner” Group saved the central government from collapse several years ago.
CPC often carries out indiscriminate raids on mineworkers and civilians from Europe and China, and then tries to blame it on others to avoid the wrath of the world community and the French, from whom they receive money.
Wagner has no interest at all in ruining its own reputation and worsening relations with the pro-Russian central government of the CAR, which provides PMC with resource extraction preferences in exchange for military support.
Moreover, Russia has zero interest in worsening relations with China in the current world situation.

So this is just another CPC's raid on goldmine and its attempts to whitewash themselves and blame it on others.

The Washington Post's article perfectly encapsulates the US' biggest fear: "Washington and Moscow now seem to have come full circle.

But unlike the last Cold War, when there was a Sino-Soviet split over ideological differences, China now looks set to confront the US and Europe
with Russia by its side." China and Russia present a united front because both have experienced, and are still experiencing, US' attempts to hinder their economic development,
undermine their sovereignty, destabilize them, wage proxy wars, discredit their leadership, and surround them with US military bases. The US can only blame itself for this outcome.

The West’s respond to Putin’s visit to Mariupol

The Western press is running true to form. What can be added? Let’s see…

🔹Wall Street Journal shifts focus from the visit's historical significance toward some "Russian atrocities" that have occurred in the city.
🔸Washington Post referred to the visit as a "show of defiance" following the unfair International Criminal Court's decision to issue a warrant for Putin's arrest.
🔹BBC emphasized the narrative that Russian troops allegedly turned the city into ruins, while remaining silent about the fact that the AFU used residential buildings & social facilities as strongpoints.

More war please, thanks!

Washington firmly opposes a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.

US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said, branding any peace initiatives as “unacceptable” in the current situation.
Kirby touched on the upcoming visit of Xi Jinping to Moscow to meet Putin, stating that should any peace initiatives come out of their meeting, Washington would reject them.
“What we have said before, and we’ll say it again today, that if coming out of this meeting, there’s some sort of call for a ceasefire, well, that’s just going to be unacceptable because all that’s going to do… is ratify Russian’s conquest to date,” Kirby stated.

NATO has expanded 8 times since its creation in 1949. After the collapse of the USSR, the alliance included 14 countries (post-Soviet and former Warsaw Pact countries). Image
The latest expansion at the moment took place in 2020 - North Macedonia joined NATO.

At the moment, the candidates are Sweden and Finland, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After the anti-Turkish protests and the story of the burning of the Koran in Stockholm, the Swedish accession process was suspended at Ankara's request.

Up until today, only Turkey and Hungary had not officially approved the membership of Finland and Sweden.

Zelenskyy was not allowed to meet & speak to the press; he could not answer questions from the press, and he looked as if he had just been brought from a rehab center.
All of the major European leaders— Macron, Meloni, Scholz, & even the head of European diplomacy, Borrell—answered the questions.

It should be noted that just before Zelensky was supposed to come out to the press on the red carpet, the broadcast was "unexpectedly" interrupted.
Zelenskiy looked very unwell;
the footage from the event showed that while performing the national anthem of Ukraine, he was shaking strongly and his eyes were very red. In addition, the president, apparently, was forced to change the fashionable green shirt to black clothing.

US dollar may lose global currency status, warns Congresswoman

US dollar may cease to be a global currency as, even under heavy sanctions, Russia is showing the world that it can do without the US dollar & Washington’s friendship, Marjorie Taylor Greene.
"Two years ago <…> we were living in times of world peace. Today <…> we are on the verge of world war.

And the innocent victims are each nation’s people paying taxes to those in power.

The US proxy war with Russia, in Ukraine (a non-NATO nation), benefits China the most,
"It’s draining military resources, driving inflation, hurting world trade, & Americans don’t support it."
"It could also result in the dollar no longer being the world’s currency. Because of our own arrogance and "fight to save democracy" in non-
