You all recall a few weeks ago I said someone had asked my kid where he bought his masks…
That was another kid…
I’m fascinated.
I’m very fascinated because according to my family stuck on #PlagueIsland the kids are repeatedly getting very sick, but there has been zero increase in mask wearing in school. In fact no one is wearing one that they know of.
It’s starting to get noticeable… the number of kids in a KF94…

I probably need to point out that a nose spray will do nothing about the aerosols that enter the lungs directly (by flowing with the air and not impacting any other surfaces first)… nor will it block virus entering via the mouth.
It’s still a very good tool though, because it may be more accepted by people that have issues with masks, and will help push R down.
It may also help block early infection of the brain, giving time for antibodies and therapeutics to prevent that…
So… at some point we are going to reach the bottom of foolishness… surely.
Every day I wake up hoping today is the day we stop digging down.
I mean… surely… at some point the newspapers will get bored of printing the happy haircut stories and get into some properly gritty stuff…
Anyone want to ask the question, “How many people catch COVID in Australian hospitals, and how many of those die?” because the data from one state looks pretty interesting, and I think other states should cough those numbers up… metaphorically one hopes.

Pre vaccination era, but that means that waning immunity on expectant mothers may be an issue.
