King Bakugo Katsuki was a busy man. Ruling UA was no joke especially when the king had one goal: rule the world. Then world peace would be achieved under his reign. Turns out conquering all of the lands required his undivided attention.
But that didn’t mean he couldn’t leave a legacy behind. He married young in order to have many suitable heirs. His mate was a pretty little thing named Izuku. He didn’t know much about the guy other than he knew at first sight it had to be him. Izuku gladly accepted.
Afterall, he would be crazy not to. Izuku was a lowly baker’s child and Katsuki was the fucking King. Izuku agreed to the marriage as long as his mom would be taken care of the rest of her life. Katsuki enjoyed the brief time they spent together where he bred him with 3 pups.
Two boys and one girl. Izuku was a great dam to their children and was tasked with raising them properly and he did a brilliant job as the the eldest child, at 10 years old, was a brilliant fighter. He was the smartest in his classes at school and he made Katsuki proud.
Their middle child was a beautiful girl who the entire kingdom adored and their youngest was still a baby so Katsuki didn’t get to see much of him. He knew his kids were being raised right and he knew the time would come to have a couple more but at the moment, he had no time.
Time, it turns out, was precious. One day, the king set out of conquer a hidden country. Their defenses were strong. Every person in their land was equipped for battle. Katsuki and his men fought tooth and nail just to stay alive. He hated the thought of retreating.
Giving up was not his style. But his men were dying, and before he knew it… so was he.

“Tell me, king.” The queen of the country, Yaoyourozu stabbed him in the gut. “What do you get out of conquering this place? We serve you and then what?!” She twisted the spear.
“AHH!” Katsuki spat out blood.

“I don’t want your land…” The queen laughed. “I want you to retreat and pretend you never saw my people! I want you to give us peace!”

“Fuck… you…” Katsuki tried to pull the spear out and then he saw it… death.
His life flashed before his eyes.

“You see it, right? How your life has amounted to nothing?” The queen taunted. “What do you live for, King? How do you sleep at night? What is the point in conquering everything if you still have nothing!”
Katsuki then remembered when he first brought Izuku to the palace. How he didn’t realize how beautiful his home was until the omega rambled on about it.

“What’s the place?” Izuku asked on their tour at a wide open field,

“What does it look like?” Katsuki scoffed.
“A whole lot of nothin’”

“C-can I make something of it?” Izuku questioned. “Sorry! I don’t mean to be rude! It’s just… I’ve always wanted a big garden! Where I can grow vegetables and things… Taihara-San next door had a small one and I always loved to pass by it!”
“Do whatever ya want, this place is yours now.” Katsuki shrugged.

And over ten years, that garden became beautiful, huge, it fed all the people that lived in the castle, it also bloomed the best flowers Katsuki had ever seen and it made him wonder… did Izuku still tend to it?
Did he hire people to help? Did the kids play it it? It was in his home but he didn’t know. He didn’t know anything about what his mate got up to when he wasn’t lying in bed with him. If Katsuki died right now, would he be sad if he was gone?
“Papa! Papa!”

“Princess! You shouldn’t interrupt your father’s meeting! He’s very busy!” One of the servants tried to stop Katsuki’s daughter, Haruhi. “I am so sorry your highness..” The servant bowed.

“But look!” She climbed on Katsuki’s lap.
“I picked this pepper just for Papa!” She grinned ear to ear and Katsuki looked at her and kept her on his lap as he continued the meeting on seizing a foreign power like nothing happened.

Katsuki didn’t have nothing. This bitch was wrong. Wrong!

“Fuck… you!”
“I have plenty! I-” The realization was too late. He couldn’t breathe. He couldn’t see. The world was going black.

“Papa.” He remembered a conversation with his son, Tatsu. “Have you ever fought with Mama?”

“What kinda question is that?”

“I watch you fight.”
Tatsu pointed out. “When you and your men practice, I can’t help but think… you should fight with Mama.”

“Your mama doesn’t know how to fight.” Katsuki scoffed. “He’s not built for it.”

“You’re gonna die one day.” Tatsu smiled at him.
“But that day will come a lot later if you try fighting with Mama. He’s the best. He can show you a lot! Or you can die sooner and this whole kingdom will be mine!” He laughed mischievously. “Your choice.”

Was Katsuki really about to die? Just like that?

“BAKUGO!”
His soldiers all worked to fight the queen off. Then they grabbed him and retreated. Losing to the fierce queen Yaoyourozu.

Katsuki thought about what would happen if he died as the world went black. What would he miss the most?

“Welcome home, Kacchan!”
He remembered Izuku’s beautiful smile greeting him whenever he returned back from a crusade. When did that stop? When did he stop waiting for him? When was the last time he saw his smile? He couldn’t remember. But he realized, he didn’t want to die without seeing it again.

“Uhh..” Katsuki groaned as he slowly opened his eyes. “Ughhh where the fuck am I?!”

“Oh! Your highness! You survived!!!!” The doctor on staff cheered happily. “I’m so relieved! The surgery was a success!

Katsuki looked around the infirmary at all his soldiers.
There was also staff there, government officials, a priest all waiting with baited breath to see if he would survive his injuries.

“Where’s…” Katsuki tried to breathe as he sat up. “Where’s Izuku?”

“Huh? The queen?” The doctor blinked.
“Your highness,” Katsuki’s head of staff, Iida Tenya cleared his throat. “You told us not to disclose to your family when you are injured! The queen is back caring for the young Prince Kaido.”

“Bring him here…” Katsuki demanded. “Bring the other kids here too!”
“But your highness! Your injuries are far from-”

“I SAID BRING THEM HERE DAMNIT!”

“And this is tomato!” Izuku showed his pup around his prized garden as he did every morning. “Can you say tomato?”

“Tomaydo?”

“Good!” Izuku giggled. “You’re so smart Kaido!”
“And right over here is-”

“Your highness!” Kirishima Eijiro, Katsuki’s right hand man ran into the garden. “Your highness, the king has summoned you to the infirmary.”

“The infirmary?” Izuku blinked. “Is he okay?!”

“Not really! But he will be come! Come this way!”
Izuku tried to contain his anxiety so he didn’t worry his pup. It was rare he was ever summoned to the infirmary or made aware of the kings injuries. He knew he had them because new scars would appear every time they slept together. But he was never brought to see him.
So, if he was summoned, the injury must be bad this time. Izuku worried about him constantly. He was always fighting. Always at war. Always insisted on being on the front lines. When Tatsu was born and everyone praised him as the next king, Izuku realized he didn’t want that.
He didn’t want his son constantly fighting, but it was inevitable. The older he got, the more he took after his father. So he would return home to his old mentor in his village, a former soldier named Toshinori Yagi, and brush up on his fighting skills.
Then he would teach his son everything he knew. If his son was going to be warrior then he needed to be the best warrior there was. One that would always return home no matter what. Kacchan was an amazing fighter, but he was rarely home. So it had to be Izuku.
He knew he had to do the same for Kaido too when he was old enough. Haruhi loved to watch but she wasn’t expected to rule. She was allowed to be a child and Izuku wanted her to experience that as much as possible. He loved his kids, every one of them. They were his whole life.
He loved his mate too. He was amazing, strong, smart and surprisingly kind. But he didn’t return his love. Kacchan loved one thing and that was the chase for greatness. He had no room in his heart for anyone else. Izuku had long since accepted that but it still pained him.
He wanted to know more about him. He absorbed any information he could about his mate from anyone who would talk about him, but he wished one day, Kacchan would hold his hand walk with him through the garden and they could talk for hours. He wished he had a partner.
The servants liked to talk and several of them like to gossip that Kacchan was having affairs all over the lands but Izuku didn’t believe it. He was way too careful of his legacy to soil it with a mistress or bastard child.
Kacchan chose him. But he didn’t know him. The gnawing loneliness ate Izuku up inside as much as he pretended it didn’t. His mom asked him the other day if he was happy, and he couldn’t answer her honestly that he was. His omega was pained.
He used to seek any time with the king he could get. He used to greet him happily when he returned from battles but that all stopped shortly after Haruhi was born when the cruel truth was spelled out to him. Izuku had just put her to bed,
And got the courage to ask his husband if he wanted to walk through the garden at night with him. It was a beautiful full moon. He walked toward the dining area where the king was laughing and drinking with his soldiers and Izuku froze when he heard their topic of conversation.
“I’m surprised you turned her away!” One of the men jeered. “She was totally coming on to you, man!”

“Yeah, if I was in your shoes, I would have a new omega every night!”

“Fuck that. None of them are worthy of my time.” Katsuki scoffed.

“Apparently the queen isn’t either!”
One of the soldiers teased him. “When is the last time you sat for dinner with the guy?! I don’t think I’ve ever even seen you two in the same room.”

“I spend time with him in the only room that matters!” Katsuki scoffed. “He’s the only one I’d do that with.”
“And trust me, he’s worth every second of that time.” He said vulgarly. “That’s what he’s good for. That’s what he’s here for. I don’t need any more time with him than that!”

Izuku felt like he got stabbed in the heart that day. A wound that never healed.
It was dumb of him to think the king actually would want to get to know him one day or hold his hand or eat with him. He would never love him and Izuku just had to accept that. But he couldn’t help what his heart wanted. His stupid heart.

“Right this way, your highness.”
Izuku walked nervously in the infirmary holding his child while his other kids were at Kacchan’s bedside already.

“Mama.” Tatsu greeted him first, holding his hands out so he could hold Kaido for him.

“Thank you, Tatsu.” Izuku smiled before slowly approaching the king.
“Kacchan, is everything alright?”

Katsuki looked at his mate’s worried eyes and wondered why he was so cautious with him. He seemed uncomfortable in the room, unsure why he was there. Was it really so outlandish to want him at his sickbed?

“Everyone else, leave.”
Katsuki demanded. He watched as his family. His blood. Look confused at being alone in a room with him. “Let me see the baby.” He instructed Tatsu.

“Kaido cries around strangers!” Haruhi blurted out.

What?! Was he really a fucking stranger to his own damn pup?!
“Kacchan, what’s going on?” Izuku asked nervously. “Is everything alright?”

Katsuki sat up and held his side which pained him. “I almost died out there.” He confessed, causing them all to look shocked. All except Tatsu who smirked smugly. “Don’t look so happy about it!”
“I told you so!” Tatsu stuck his tongue out. “I told you you should let Mama teach you a better way to fight!”

“Tatsu, now’s not-” Izuku began to scold before Katsuki held his hand out.

“I should be spending a lot more time with all of you. I…” He took a deep breath.
“I don’t know you as well as I should. I didn’t even remember Kaido’s name until Haruhi said it. While dying, I thought… that’s shitty. I should know my own pup’s name. I should know whether my mate still tends to the garden he created or how on earth he taught my son to fight.”
“So what is this?” Tatsu laughed. “An old man’s regret? You could have asked me or Haruhi anything about Mama. You could have visited him whenever. You could have seen Kaido whenever. But now that you lost pathetically, you wanna be a family man?”

“Tatsu. That’s enough.”
Izuku scolded.

“No, Ma! You don’t think I know why your cry when you think you’re alone?! Papa’s pathetic! He doesn’t love you! He only realized he was going to die alone! But let me tell you Papa! I’m gonna surpass you as king one day!”
“And when I do, the first thing I’m gonna do is gift Mama to a king who actually gives a shit about him!”

“He’s not fucking cattle you can just sell!” Katsuki seethed. “What the fuck is wrong with you?!”

“I’m not selling him!” Tatsu scoffed.
“You’re the one whose not paying attention! I know what Prince visits the castle just to see him when you’re not looking! And he’s going to be king soon! A much better king than you!”

“Tatsu, I don’t want anyone else.” Izuku pulled his son back.
“You don’t need to gift me to anyone. It’s gift enough your father survived. If he wants to spend time with us, we should-”

“He’s not gonna change!” Tatsu snapped at Izuku. “You’ll see. Come on Haruhi, let’s go.”

“But, I’m worried about-”

“Let’s go!” He dragged her outside.
“I’m sorry about him.” Izuku bowed his head. “He truly is happy you’re okay. As much as he talks about taking your place, he actually loves you and admired you and-”

“What is he talking about?!” Katsuki seethed.

“Um, he said a lot of things..”

“What Prince?!”
Izuku didn’t know how to answer that question. He really wished Tatsu hadn’t said anything. As queen, one of his duties was to make sure visiting nobility was comfortable. He would every one of them a tour of the garden. There were three princes that visited often.
Todoroki of Endeavor country
Iida of Ingenium country
And Rody of Oseon. Izuku got along with all of them and loved their visits. He considered them all great friends and he didn’t want their visits to stop. They made the castle a lot less lonely.
“I’m not sure, Kacchan.” Izuku laughed it off. “I think he was just trying to say anything to hurt you. You don’t have to worry, I wouldn’t-”

“Is it true what he said then?! About you crying when you think you’re alone?!”

“I’m sure it’s just hormones. I just had a baby!”
“A year ago! What’s up with-“ Katsuki began to interrogate and something snapped in Izuku.

“Why are you asking all this?! Who I spend my time with! What I do when I’m not spending time with anyone! Since when do you care about any time of mine that’s not yours!”
“I know I’ve been a shitty mate!” Katsuki said desperately. “But that doesn’t mean you can go philandering around with some Prince cause you’ve been unhappy!”

“Do you really think after everything I’ve given to you, I would do something like that?!” Izuku cried.
“Stop crying.” Katsuki looked away. He hated the sight of his mate crying and he realized then that he only saw him cry once on their wedding day. He was so happy that day. Whatever happened to his smile?

“What do you want from me then?! You said you want to get know me,”
“But we’re here alone and you haven’t even asked how my day was. You haven’t asked me directly if I still tend to the garden. When Tatsu took the kids, I was hoping maybe I could get to know you better too! But all you want to know is what I do when you’re not here!”
“All you want to know is that I’m still yours! But Kacchan, I’ve always been yours since the day you chose me! And maybe Tatsu is right! Maybe you won’t change at all! But I’d like to see it! I’d like to get to know the person I’m married to just a little bit more!”
Katsuki stared at him and wondered how he could possibly fix this? What could he say? How could he get to know such a person?

“How was your day?” He grumbled awkwardly.

“Terrible. My husband almost died.” Izuku sighed.

“What an idiot.” Katsuki smirked.

“The biggest.”

“Hey!”

Izuku didn’t know how to feel about the sudden attention from his mate. All week he had been loving, attentive, and had really gotten to know him. Izuku got to show him around the garden. Kacchan even fed Kaido from the bottle. It was a sight to see.
Izuku was nervous about sleeping with him again. He thought maybe as soon as he gave him what he wanted that he would remember “what he was good for” and leave him all alone again. But Kacchan actually stayed after and they talked all night.
Then he invited him to breakfast in the morning before he had meeting to attend. Izuku was buzzing with happiness but he also had a sense of uneasiness. Was it all too good to be true?

“Ma! Pay attention!” Tatsu yelped and cut Izuku’s horse off with his own before-
He rode it directly off a cliff.

“Ah! I’m sorry!” Izuku was so distracted, he didn’t notice where he was going.

“That’s enough riding for today.” Tatsu grumbled before jumping off his horse and patting it to run back home.

“Thank you for saving me!”
Izuku laughed as he dismounted his own horse and sent her home. “I guess I just have a lot on my mind.”

“Why? Cause that old man is doing the bare minimum?!” He scoffed. “He should have been treating you like this! Why are you rewarding him!”

“First of all, he’s not old.”
Izuku giggled. “Your Papa’s my age and we were very young when we had you. We’re not even 30 years old yet! Second of all… I think your sire is doing his best to make up for lost time. He’s not perfect but he’s trying. And I appreciate it.”
“I’ll believe it when I see it!” Tatsu scoffed and Izuku couldn’t blame him for being protective. He appreciated his sons love. But something was nothing him.

“Tatsu… what were you talking about in the infirmary room. Which Prince did you want to gift me to?”
“That’s my secret!” Tatsu grinned before running away.

“Tatsu! Wait!”

Haruhi excitedly put her boots on and scampered to the lake to meet her brother.

“Hicchan, hurry up!” Tatsu stood by the boat with his arms crossed.

“I’m coming! I’m coming!”
Haruhi threw her arms around her brother and smiled. “I’m here!”

“Alright! Let’s do this then!” They got in the boat and began to row across the lake.

“Hmm… Takkun?”

“What?”

“Do you think this is still a good idea?”

“Why wouldn’t it be?” He seethed.
“What if Papa and Mama fall in love?”

“Don’t tell me you’re buying his fairy tale bullshit too!” Tatsu snapped.

“Papa gave me flowers yesterday from Mama’s garden! They were my favorite flowers! I told him my favorite flower only once but he remembered!”
“It’s easy to remember Daisies! I’m suppose to clap!” Tatsu grimaced.

“It’s tulips, Nii-San!” Haruhi goaned.

“Blah blah blah, whatever! Look we’re here with someone who truly cares about you and Mama!”

“Hey guys!” Prince Rody from Oseon waved at the shore. “Glad you made it!”
Tatsu’s eyes widened in excitement. He loved Prince Rody. As a fellow prince, he was fun to talk to. He may have been older than him but he had the spirit of a child. He never talked down to him. Recognized his strength and fostered their relationship as future rulers.
And most of all, he made Mom happy. He would always see him laugh and smile when was with Rody. Rody always went above and beyond for him, showing up unannounced just to surprise him with gifts to make him happy. His mom was oblivious to his courting attempts,
but Tatsu was sure, when he was king, Izuku would be the happiest married to Rody instead of his Papa who only made him cry.

“Afternoon, Rody-Sama!” Haruhi greeted. “Um… what did you want to see us today for?”

“Just to have a little campfire!”
They spent the afternoon fishing and setting up camp and eating the fish they caught when Rody swallowed his share.

“How’s you mom doing?” He asked. “I’m sorry I haven’t been able to visit this week. It’s been busy!”

“Papa is spending time with him! Lots of it!”
Haruhi beamed. “I… know you wanna make Mama happy but I think he is! I think Papa can-”

“Our Papa almost died!” Tatsu snapped. “He realized he was gonna die alone so he wanted to change it but he’ll go back to hold ways the second there’s a new country to conquer!”
“What he’s doing is cruel! It’s not gonna last and Mama is gonna be even more sad! But he doesn’t see it!” Tatsu ranted. “He’s just seeing what he wants to!”

“Tatsu.” Rody pat his head. “Don’t worry. When everything goes wrong, I’ll be there for him.”
“I.. I don’t want it to go wrong.” Haruhi teared up. “Why is everyone saying it’s going to?”

“Because the King is predictable I’m afraid.” Rody sighed. “Everything he does is selfish. You mom deserves someone better.”

“Damn straight.” Tatsu seethed.
“Maybe I can reason with him.” Rody stood up and stretched. “But I might need your kids help.”

“So I pulled our troops out of three countries.” Katsuki talked about his day with his wife over dinner.

“Kacchan, that’s a lot!” Izuku gasped.
“Whatever happened to taking over everything? Leaving no land unturned or unallied?”

“I realized.. we own enough.” Katsuki sighed before grabbing Izuku’s hand. “But what am I doing with what I have, ya know? It’s like the garden. I owned all that land and did nothing.”
“But YOU.” He squeezed it tight. “You did something with my nothing. Izuku, I know it’s sudden, but… I want you to rule alongside me. As a true King and Queen.”

“Kacchan, that’s-” Izuku gasped before the servants brought in more wine and poured it in his cup.
The smell of it triggered the omega. Suddenly, he was back in the hallway hearing the words that tore him apart.

“Are you okay?”

“Why?” Izuku cried.

“Huh?”

“Why am I good for more now?” He sniffled.

“What are you talking about?”
“I’m sorry… I…” Izuku was shaking as he held himself. “I forgot.. this whole week, I managed to forget… but…”

Katsuki could smell his scent sour the second the wine was poured in the cup but he felt helpless as he watched Izuku fall apart. He didn’t know how to comfort him.
“Hey…” Katsuki kneeled in front of him and awkwardly scented his wrists and neck before nuzzling his nose. “It’s fine. You can tell me anything.” He gently wiped his tears with his hands.

“You… um… might not remember but. You were in this room with your men drinking…”
“Shortly after Haruhi was born and I wanted to ask you to walk with me in the garden but I heard you…” He broke down into a sob. “I heard you say you didn’t want my time. You only wanted to sleep with me and that’s all I was good for. I just don’t know what changed.”
“Why am I suddenly worthy of ruling alongside you? Why do you want my time outside of the bedroom now? I get you almost died and felt lonely but what if I had been the one to die? I would have died alone too! Would you have cared at all? Or would you just find someone else to-”
Katsuki interrupted him with a deep, passionate kiss.

“I’m sorry.” The alpha whispered as tears poured down his own face. “What a shitty thing to say. I don’t remember saying it. But… Izuku…” Katsuki kissed his hands. “I’m sure I didn’t mean it.”
“And if I did then I deserved to get stabbed like that… I deserve to lose you. But I don’t want to.” He held the omega close. “I chose you because I saw your smile, ya know. I thought I wanted to see every day I can. I’ve been an asshole. I’ve forgotten.”
“I know I can’t take back what I said. But I’m gonna get to know ever damn thing about you, Midoriya Izuku. And I’m going to love the shit out of you like you deserve!”

“I want to believe you…” Izuku sniffled. “So please don’t let me down.”

Katsuki kissed him again.
Then he carried him back to their nest where he showered him in as much attention and affection as he could before the omega fell asleep in his arms. Katsuki realized lots of things about his mate. One of those was how resilient he was. Another was how much love he had to give.
And how much time Katsuki spend not allowing him to give it. All three of their children were amazing and considering Katsuki didn’t have the time to raise them, he could only give that credit to the boy in his arms.

“I’m going to make it right. I swear.” He whispered.

Izuku walked with Kaido through the garden and named the next morning feeling ten times lighter. He always knew Kacchan was amazing but with each passing day, he proved just how amazing he was. He comforted him when he could have made excuses.
He accepted him and his feelings. Izuku felt incredibly happy.

“Apo!” Kaido pointed at the tree they passed.

“Yes! Good job Kaido! That’s an apple!” Izuku beamed.

Kaido giggled and wiggled at his mom’s praise and Izuku smiled softly at him. He looked a lot like Kacchan.
The only difference was he had green eyes, but otherwise he was his spitting image. So it was cute to see him laugh and smile and look so care free.

“What’s my favorite baby laughing about, huh?”

“Aah!” Izuku shrieked before turning around and laughing. “Rody, hello!”
“It’s been awhile, huh? Sorry about that! But look who I brought!” He reached into his pocket and pulled out his pink bird that Izuku adored.

“Oh it’s Pino! Hi cutie!” He reached down and pet it with his finger. “How have you been?” He asked the prince.

“Fine and you?”
Izuku blushed and squeezed Kaido close to him. “Um… a lot happier. Kacchan.. um.. the King.. he’s been very nice this week.”

“Oh! I wonder what he wants!” Rody laughed.

“He really wants to get to know me! And be closer! It’s… it’s really nice.” Izuku smiled his wobbly grin.
“Well I hope for your sake it’s true. But that King… maybe he felt you slipping away and is just doing whatever to lock you down, ya know?” Rody shrugged.

“I was never thinking of leaving him, you know that’s not an option for me, Rody.”

“Why not?” Rody tilted his chin up.
“U-um… it’s kid of difficult to leave a king, no?” Izuku laughed before backing up. “Besides he takes care of me and mom and the kids and I don’t really want to leave my entire life behind even if he didn’t change, b-but he is changing! You should see- what are you doing?!”
Rody got down on his knees and presented a beautiful diamond necklace. “I don’t have to change at all to see how much you’re worth, Izuku.”

“H-huh? What are you doing? I can’t possibly accept something like that.” Izuku felt viscerally uncomfortable.

“I’m gonna show you.”
“When push comes to shove… he will make you his breeding horse again.” Rody stood up and snapped the case shut. “And when he does… I will be here for you. I’ll take care of your mother. I’ll take care of you. I’ll love your children. And I’ll love you more than anything.”
“Rody…” Izuku turned away. “I need you to leave. I can’t return your feelings.”

“You can’t… but you do, right?” Rody put his hand on his shoulder.

“No. Please don’t visit again. I’m sorry.” This must be the person Tatsu was trying to gift him to.
“So what? Now that the king finally said two words to you, you want to get rid of me?” Rody said playfully. “I get it. You’re nervous about ruining your marriage that you trapped yourself in. I’m going to leave but Izuku… you know where to find me when things go south.”

“Tatsu…” Haruhi seethed as they snuck into Kaido’s nursery later that night. “We shouldn’t do this!”

“Kaido will be fine! Rody-Sama won’t let anything happen to him!” Kaido whispered back.

“This plan is bad! Crazy! It’s not going to work! I don’t like it!”
“You believe in Papa, right?” Tatsu grinned. “Then give him a chance to prove himself. If he does the right thing then you win and I’ll accept him. But if he tries to force Mama to make another one then we’ll know he hasn’t changed!”

“How long is this for?!”
“Until Papa shows who he really is! We can always visit him, remember? We won’t miss a thing in his life!” Tatsu insisted. “So you in?! You want Papa to prove himself?!”

Haruhi sadly nodded her head. “I still don’t like this.”

“It’s only for a short time.”
Tatsu slowly lifted Kaido out of his crib.

“Tatu?” The child slowly blinked his eyes open.

“Shh! You better not cry!” Tatsu whispered harshly.

“What are you brats doing?” Katsuki’s voice startled them. “It’s late. You shouldn’t wake your brother up! Why are you still up?”
Haruhi couldn’t take the pressure and broke down crying, startling Katsuki.

“H-hey! You’re not in trouble or anything! Or I guess you might be if your Ma finds out but it’s not like I’m gonna snitch. I’m just wondering what you’re doing!” Katsuki picked her up.
“We were just checking on him! Are we not allowed to look at our brother?” Tatsu huffed before Kaido let out a loud poot before giggling and kicking his feet. “Ew gross!”

“Did you just take a shit?” Katsuki put Haruhi down and picked up his done.

“Shit! Shit!” Kaido laughed.
Katsuki then realized he had no idea how to change a diaper.

“Fuck, do you guys know how to do this?” He brought him to the sink.

“Fuck!” Kaido laughed.

“Stop repeating me!” Katsuki seethed.

“Fucki! Shit!”

“Um… I think Mama washes him!”
Haruhi said desperately.

“He gets the clean nappy first! Where’s the nappys?!” Tatsu sifted through the nursery.

“Alright stinker!” Katsuki turned the water on.

“Here just use this shirt!” Tatsu took his shirt off.

“How the hell is he supposed to wear that as a diaper?!”
“I think we can just tie it around him, right? I’ll try. Here! Throw his old nappy in this!” Haruhi brough a trash can.

“Thanks!” Katsuki removed the nappy and as soon as he did, Kaido peed, making Katsuki and the kids scream.

Izuku stood by the door, watching.
He wondered if he should help. But seeing Kacchan and the kids try so hard to wash and care for Kaido made him feel warm and fuzzy inside. Like they were an actual family.

“Alright! The scamper is clean!” Katsuki said out of breath.

“Shit!” Kaido said again.

“Please don’t…”
Tatsu begged. Izuku couldn’t help it burst into a fit of giggles.

“HOW LONG WERE YOU THERE?!” Katsuki, Tatsu, and Haruhi said at once.

“Long enough.” Izuku walked over and picked Kaido up, causing the shirt to fall right off. Then he reached under the changing table.
He effortlessly put the new nappy on then picked up the baby and cradled him.

“See? Easy.” He smiled brightly and Katsuki felt his heart swell. There it is. The thing he lived for.

“Mama… we’re sorry for being in here so late.” Haruhi grumbled.

“Why were you in here?”
Izuku questioned.

“B-because-”

“We wanted to teach Kaido new words and blame Papa!” Tatsu interrupted her. “Sorry. It wasn’t nice.”

“Tatsu.” Izuku handed Kaido to Katsuki. “I know things haven’t been easy for you…. But, your father does make me happy.”
“He will make all of us happy, I can feel it.” Izuku caressed his sons face gently. “It’s not fair of me to ask you this, but will you give him a chance? Will you give our family a chance to make you happy?”

Tatsu looked at Katsuki then back at Haruhi then at Kaido.
“Whatever….” He grumbled before staring down at his shows. “Don’t mess it up, old man!” He fumed before running out.

Haruhi saw her brother and wondered if she should come clean about what they were really there for. But she decided against it.
She didn’t want to get Tatsu or Rody-Sama in trouble. She was just glad the plan didn’t work.

“I’m going to sleep.” She hugged Katsuki’s leg then Izuku’s waist. “Goodnight.”

Katsuki and Izuku hugged and kissed her Goodnight before putting Kaido back to bed.
Then they walked hand in hand to their chambers. As soon as they shut the door behind them, Izuku grabbed Katsuki’s shirt and pulled him in for a deep, passionate kiss.

“What was that for?” Katsuki smirked before kissing him again.

“I’m just really happy.” Izuku blushed.
Katsuki was overwhelmed by his omega scent as they crashed into each other like magnets, until they stumbled into their nest.

“Fuck.. are you in heat?” Katsuki whispered.

“I don’t know… I just know I want you…”

“You have all of me, Izuku. Any time you want.”

Tatsu felt bad the next day as he practiced his sword fighting. Apparently his mom had gotten sick or something so he couldn’t come out of his room for a few days. And Pa had taken those days off to care for him. It was weird, having parents who loved each other.
But was weirder was he almost kidnapped his own brother. What was wrong with him?

“Hyah!” He hit the tree again and again and again.

“Woah there!” Rody’s voice startled him. “What did that tree do to you?”

“Rody-Sama…” Tatsu put his sword away. “We got caught last night.”
“After I put myself out there like that?” Rody sighed. “Now I’m banned from here by the queen for nothing.”

“M-maybe you should be!” Tatsu declared. “My old man is changing… I think. I still have to see more but he got peed on yesterday for Kaido and that was pretty cool.”
“And I don’t think I could just kidnap him, you know? Kaido wouldn’t know it’s fake. He would just miss mom!”

“You’re right. Maybe my plan was too crazy.” Rody patted him on the back. “But I still would like to not be banned and you did put me in a really tight situation!”
“So when you can, bring him to me across the lake? I just wanna apologize to him! Nothing more, nothing less.” Rody smiled.

“I’ll think about it.” Tatsu pulled his sword out and struck the tree. “But if he’s happy then let him be happy, alright?!”
“You know he won’t be happy for long.” Rody signed. “You know he’ll be happiest with me. But that’s fine. I’ll be here for all of you.”

“That’s big talk for someone who will have to change their identity if I tell my Papa you’re the one whose courting Mama.”
“So why haven’t you yet?” Rody questioned. “In fact, why hasn’t your Mama told your Papa about me? Or your sister? Because they all know. You know. I’m the best thing for you all. And you’re all keeping me hidden in case the other shoe drops. It hurts to be used but I get it.”
“So use me. I’ll be waiting for the lonely ruler to turn his back on you all once again.” Rody walked away and Tatsu felt angry. He was pissed at himself that Rody’s words actually hurt! Because he stupidly had hope maybe, just maybe things would be different.
He really hoped he wasn’t wrong.

“Why haven’t you had Mama teach you to fight yet?” Tatsu questioned his father a month later as they trained together.

“Your mom’s not up for fighting lately. He’s been tired.” Katsuki dodged and parried his strikes.

“He seems fine to me.”
Tatsu looked back at Izuku and Haruhi who were having a tea party with Kaido and Haruhi’s stuffed animals under a giant willow tree. “Are you worried he’s gonna kick your ass?”

“Not worried about that! He just can’t fight right now! Alright? Now pay attention!”
Katsuki knocked him over and pointed his wooden training sword under his chin. “You still got a long way to go too, champ.”

“Be careful you guys!” Izuku chastised them from afar.

“We will!” They shouted back.

“I don’t get why he can’t join us, he looks-…. No.”
Tatsu said in realization. “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! ANOTHER ONE?!” He threw his training sword away and pulled out his real sword.

“Hey! Put that way!” Katsuki scolded.

“WHY CAN’T YOU KEEP YOUR DICK IN YOUR PANTS, HUH?! WAS THAT ALL THIS TALK WAS FOR?!” He charged at him.
“HEY! IT WAS AN ACCIDENT ALRIGHT?!” Katsuki frantically dodged him and hid behind trees as he didn’t have his real sword on him. “WE DIDN’T MEAN TO!”

“YEAH RIGHT!” Tatsu jumped up and kicked him, knocking him to the ground and was about to swing,
Before his sword was knocked right out of his hand and he was knocked off balance before his mother caught him as he almost fell to the ground.

“Tatsu, that’s enough.” Izuku scolded.

“No fair! You came out of nowhere!” He cried.

“You tried to kill me, why are you crying?!”
Katsuki said, genuinely terrified.

“It’s okay, Tatsu…” Izuku said soothingly. “This happened out of love. It was made with love…” He hugged him. “I’m very happy. I want this. Won’t you be happy with us?”

“If you abandon him again, I’ll kill you!” Tatsu seethed.
“I’m not! I’m not…” Katsuki sighed before picking him up.

“Put me down!” Tatsu kicked his feet.

“I fucked up, alright?!” Katsuki put him back on the ground. “You were right about everything. I was selfish. You had no reason to trust me, but you do now.”
“Here.” Katsuki gave him a small dagger he had. “If I hurt your mom, you slit my throat with this. It’s an order from your king.”

Tatsu looked down at the dagger then up at his father. “I wanna name him…”

“You can!” Izuku sighed in relief. “I’d be honored!”
“Your highness! Your highness! It’s urgent!” A guard rushed over from the castle. “We need you in the meeting chamber immediately.”

“Well my queen?” Katsuki offered his hand to Izuku. “Shall we go?”

“Y-Yes.” Izuku smiled. “Let’s find out what this is about.”
TBC 👑👑
Katsuki was shocked to hear the news that spurred the meeting on. Katsuki’s most loyal soldiers Kaminari, Sero, Takami and Tokoyami had left with Kirishima to make peace negotiations with Queen Yaoyourozu is the hidden Creati country and she took them all as prisoners.
“There’s only one thing left to do!” Iida Tenya, who was serving under Katsuki as a gift from Ingenium kingdom, chopped his hands. “We must go to war to get our men back!”

“Is… there any other way?” Izuku spoke causing everyone to stare at him skeptically.
He could see Kacchan getting upset on his behalf. But he understood it would take awhile for any of them accept his input. He just had to keep pushing forward. “Queen Yaoyourozu kept them as prisoners, right? She didn’t kill them so that means she wants them as bargaining chips!”
“And are we supposed to give into her desires?! We sent them over to bargain! She is the one who escalated it!” Iida argued.

“What did we offer her?” Izuku looked at Katsuki. “Maybe she saw it as an insult!”

“The usual stuff. Reparations, money, and ally ship blah blah blah.”
“Let me see.” Izuku demanded and Iida held the copy of the treaty back.

“Your highness, I’m sure you aren’t able to understand the complications that go into such treaties-”

“Give it to him!” Katsuki snapped and Iida hesitantly handed it over.

Izuku read through every line,
making sure to go over every detail while the rest of the chamber discussed loudly other options.

“We can send a rescue team and be in and out!”

“War is the only way!”

“We lost the war last time!”

“So we borrow soldiers from our allies!”
“This treaty is asking for far too much for a country that’s on the back foot!” Izuku interrupted. “It’s underestimating the power of this country that we know little to nothing about! Their queen almost killed our king! She spared his life! From her perspective, we should be-”
“In servitude to her! We need to completely re-write this!”

“Respectfully, my queen, what do you propose we do?! Fall into her hands?! Give up this country and let HER rule us?!” Shindo Yo, one of the governors questioned.

“We should be grateful that that’s not what she wants!”
Izuku argued. “Right Ka- Your highness?”

“Izuku’s right.” Katsuki grabbed his hand in support. “She only demanded peace from me and for us to leave her country alone. We’re in no place to ask her for anything, but our men back!”

“So what do you propose we do?”
“I’ll go and talk to her myself!” Katsuki stood up. “I’ll bring only the best soldiers left and we’ll have our weapons sealed as a show that we come in peace. Then we’ll bring and empty treaty and I’ll speak with her to negotiate for every one of my soldiers and Kirishima back.”
“But your highness, we can’t risk losing you again!”

“You’ll have a very capable leader if everything goes wrong!” Katsuki snapped.

“Sir, you can’t expect a ten year old to rule a country!” Iida’s jaw dropped.

“I wasn’t talking about him!” Katsuki squeezed Izuku’s hand tighter
“As much as I want the King to remain safe here in the castle, I do think it’s for the best he goes to Queen Yaoyourozu himself as a sign of humility after his defeat.” Izuku stood up by his side. “I have faith Ka- the King can get our men back!”
After the long stressful meeting, making all the arrangements for Kacchan’s travels, Izuku held his hand as he walked him to his riding horse.

“Be careful out there.” He kissed him.

“I’ll be back so soon, ya won’t even know I left!” Katsuki smirked before pinching his cheek.
He mounted his horse before caressing Izuku’s face once more and planting a gentle kiss on his lips. “Tell the kids I said bye.”

Izuku nodded in agreement before whispering how much he loved him.

“Love you way more than that, nerd.”

“Are you ready your highness?!”
“Let’s go!”

Izuku watched him ride away then burst into tears. He knew he would be back. Kacchan alway came back, afterall. But after actually spending such a wonderful month and a half with him, he couldn’t help how much he missed him already. He was such an amazing man.
He felt so lucky to be married and mated to him even though it hadn’t been easy.

“Mama?” Tatsu returned to the castle from the field. “What are you doing outside? The sun’s going down. Where’s Papa?”

“Um.” Izuku wiped his tears as quickly as he could.
“Your sire had to leave on important business. It was urgent, but he’ll be back!” He informed him.

“So that’s it?” Tatsu ran up to Izuku and grabbed his wrist, seeing the leftover tears on his face. “He just left and made you cry again?!”

“No! Tatsu, listen!”
“Your father still needs to do his duties as King! I understand that-” Izuku tried to reason with him but the emotional child wasn’t having any of it.

“No! You’re just giving him excuses! He’s gonna come back and ignore you all over again until he wants another baby!”

“Tatsu!”
“Don’t you want be something more than just a damn breeding horse?!” Tatsu snapped.

“Breeding horse? Who told you that?!” Izuku grabbed his shoulders. “Have you been talking to Prince Rody?! I need you to stop!”

“Maybe you should be with him! He loves you!”
“But I don’t love him, Tatsu! I love your sire!”

“That’s because you didn’t have a choice!” Tatsu screamed.

“That’s not true! I don’t know where you heard all this from but you need to get it out of your head!” Izuku was getting angrier with Rody by the second.
“You need to get this fairy tale out of your head that you’re smart enough to see through Papa’s lies!” Tatsu seethed before Haruhi ran up and slapped him across the face.

“STOP IT!” She cried.

“Haruhi…” Izuku held her back.

“STOP BEING MEAN TO MAMA!”
She shreiked. “I GET IT! YOU’RE SCARED! BUT SO AM I! SO IS MAMA! SO WHAT IF THIS IS ALL A FAIRY TALE WE WANT TO BELIEVE! WHAT DOES THAT MAKE YOU?! SOMEONE WHO BELIEVES IN SCARY STORIES?! WE DON’T KNOW WHATS GONNA HAPPEN WHEN PAPA COMES BACK!”
“WE DON’T EVEN KNOW OF HE IS COMING BACK! BUT WE DON’T HAVE TO!!!” She sobbed. “A MONTH AGO IT WAS JUST US, RIGHT?! I KNOW MAMA WAS SAD! BUT HE WAS ALSO HAPPY! HE LOVES US! WE MAKE HIM HAPPY! BUT YOU’RE BEING A STINKY JERK AND MAKING HIM SAD! SO I’M NOT MAD AT PAPA FOR WORKING!”
“I’M MAD AT YOU! LEAVE HIM ALONE! LEAVE HIM ALONE!” She cried and threw her arms around Izuku, sobbing into his shoulder.

“Haruhi, it’s okay.” Izuku reassured her. “Please don’t cry. Tatsu,”

“Save it…” Tatsu rubbed his cheek. “She’s right…. I’m sorry.” He then cried and ran.
Izuku picked Haruhi up and carried her back to her room to put her to bed. What became clear to him was how much his kids loved him. He may have done a huge disservice trying to hide his pain from them. Trying to paint this picture that everything was perfect. They always knew.
And unfortunately because they felt they couldn’t talk about it with him, they talked about it with someone else who poisoned them. He needed to have a firm talk with Rody. One where lots of unkind words would be exchanged.

“Get some sleep, my Princess.” Izuku kissed her head.
“I love you Mama…” Haruhi sniffled.

“I love you too.” Izuku smiled.

“I know Papa loves you… and Tatsu didn’t mean what he said.”

“I know.” Izuku kissed her hands. “He’s just repeating something he shouldn’t have heard.”

“Is Rody-Sama gonna be in trouble?”
“Yes.” Izuku squeezed her hand tightly. “You’ll understand why when you’re older.”

After tucking her in, he stood outside Tatsu’s room before taking a deep breath and knocking on the door.

“Tatsu. Can I come in?” He asked to no response. “Tatsu?!”
He tried opening the door but it was locked. Maybe he fell asleep already? Izuku wished he could have talked to him before bed. He sighed and went to go check on Kaido. He opened the nursery door and felt a cold breeze fill the room.

“That’s no good! You’ll get a cold!”
Izuku walked over to the window and shut it before looking back at the empty crib.

“Huh?” It took awhile for it to register. His pulse raced, sweat dripped down his forehead, his blood turned cold. “K-KAIDO??”

Panic filled him as he checked every inch of the room.
“KAIDO! KAIDO!” All Izuku could do was helplessly called his name as he pounded on every one of his Nannies doors, waking them up.

“Your highness!” Uraraka Ochaco, his most trusted nurse ran into the hall. “What’s wrong?!”

“Kaido…” Izuku was having a panic attack.
“Please tell me you have my baby!” He sobbed.

“Oh dear…” Ochaco held him close. “HELP! GUARDS! HELP! ANYONE WHO CAN HEAR ME! WAKE THE WHOLE PLACE UP! We’ll find him, your majesty! I swear!”

“Kaido! Oh Kaido!” Izuku felt like a total failure.

“I’m surprised you’re going through with it.” Rody said to Tatsu as he handed Kaido to his head nurse, making the pup cry in distress.

“Be careful with him, alright!” Tatsu seethed.

“Don’t worry, look…”

The nurse soothed the child instantly.

“She’s the best at this.”
Rody assured him before putting his hand on his shoulder. “Hopefully it doesn’t take too long for the king to show his true colors and then you can have him right back. Or you guys can move here of course. With your beautiful Mom in tow!” He laughed.
“Do you really want what’s best for my mom?” Tatsu questioned. “Or do you just want to get your dick wet?!”

“Hey now! Who taught you how to talk like that? You don’t even know what that means!” Rody chastised him.

“The soldiers talk loudly enough for me to know all that stuff!”
“I love your mom. I’ll make him happy.”

“What do you love about him?!” Tatsu questioned.

“What’s with all the questions now, huh? Your mom’s amazing. What’s not to love?” Rody pat his head. “Now go on. You gotta be home before the sun rises and all hell breaks loose.”
“You better keep him safe!” Tatsu seethed. “Or I’ll kill you myself!”

“Understood, young Prince.” Rody smirked.

Tatsu hoped Rody wasn’t dumb enough to hurt Kaido, even though he was dumb enough to trust him without a single question as to why he changed his mind.
Tatsu rode his boat back to the castle with a heavy heart. He hated the guy he was earlier in the day. He hated everything he said to his mom. Haruhi was right that he was awful for doing so. Rody was the one who put all those thoughts in his head but he was the idiot who-
believed him. He was the puppet who spouted those things to his dam who had done nothing but love, care and protect him all his life. Tatsu realized anyone who could say those awful things about his mom couldn’t love him. And it angered him he ever believed in Rody at all.
So while he was doing was drastic, it had to be done. He hurried back to the castle and snuck back into his bedroom. From the sounds of it, hell had already broken loose. Uh oh.

“Mama! Mama! Please calm down! Please!” Haruhi sat with her arms around Izuku.
All the nurses covered him with comforting blankets in the hallway and the kings clothes to try and keep him from dropping.

“Leave me alone…” Izuku sniffled. “Find my son… I need you all to find my son..”

“The guards are on it, okay?” Ochaco whispered to him. “We’ll find him”
“Prince Tatsu! We need to search your room at once!” Iida pounded on the door. “Your highness! Please open or we will use force!” He pounded again. “TA-”

Tatsu sleepily swung the door open in pajamas. “What do you want old man?! I should try you for treason for waking me!”
“Have you really slept through all of this?! My goodness, you are just as heavy of a sleeper as your father! Your brother is missing! Did you perhaps bring him to your room?!” Iida questioned.

“Huh?! Kaido’s gone?” Tatsu blinked as Tenya and the guards made their way in his room
“Yes! Now go comfort the queen with your sister while we find him!” Iida demanded.

Tatsu ran into the hallway and kneeled by Izuku’s side, grabbing his hand. He felt awful for worrying him but he knew he was strong. He wasn’t like Rody said.

“It’s going to be okay, Mom.”
“Tatsu…” Izuku cried. “Oh Tatsu I’m sorry. I’m sorry for being such an awful dam..”

“Don’t apologize. I was the awful one.” He kissed his hand. “You have to stay awake, okay? For Papa, and for my new brother Satan the fourth!”

“I’m not naming my baby Satan.” Izuku laughed.
“You said I could name him!” Tatsu just needed to distract him from his distress.

“Oh… I can’t even think about him or her.. I… Kaido… I want my baby.” He sobbed.

“Tatsu…” Haruhi looked down guiltily. “You don’t think…”

Tatsu gasped dramatically before standing up.
“It could be…! Wait! Iida! Call the guards here!”

“What is it?” Izuku looked back and forth at his children.

“Mama… remember the day Papa found us with Kaido? And we were the worst at changing his diaper?”

“Yes, yes I remember.” Izuku nodded his head.
“I’m sorry Mama….” Haruhi broke down. “Oh this all our fault.”

“What’s all your fault? What’s going on?” Izuku leaned on Ochaco as he tried to stand up.

“Don’t push yourself.” Ochaco set him back down. “Get some rest.”

“What is it young Prince?” Iida questioned.
“We were there that night not to teach Kaido bad words, but to bring him across the pond to Prince Rody of Oseon! He told us… he told us he would show us our father hasn’t changed and we should do this to see it ourselves! We were glad Papa showed up to stop by maybe…”
“Maybe it wasn’t enough for him! Maybe he never wanted to show us anything about Papa and he was just using us to steal Kaido to use against our kingdom!” Tatsu accused him.

“I’m sorry I should have told you and Papa about him!” Haruhi cried.
“This is a treason that must be punished!” Iida pulled his sword out.

“But our best guards and our King are gone! We have to wait for their return to declare war!” Another aid argued.

“I don’t think you understand. Losing King Bakugo’s son in his absence is something-”
“None of us can afford! Not only is it shameful as his mightiest warriors, but he will surely have all of our heads!” Iida reasoned. “I will retrieve the Prince myself.”

“No.” Izuku stood up, shaking with anger. “I will.”

“Your highness…”
“Kacchan isn’t the one Rody should be afraid of.” He grabbed a sword from one of guards sheaths. “It’s me.”

“But your with child! You couldn’t possibly fight!” Iida argued.

“I won’t die.” Izuku said coldly. “He won’t get the chance. He’s done enough harm to my children.”
Izuku inspected the sword in his hand and sighed before addressing his kids. “He did all this for me, right? Which means he must have told you guys to set up a place to meet, right? Just him? I’m sure his father wouldn’t agree to this kidnapping. He’s much too diplomatic.”
“Across the pond at the camp between our countries.” Haruhi said.

“Set up a meeting with him first thing in the morning. And have him bring Kaido. I will settle this as Queen of Yuuei once and for all.” Izuku demanded. He loved Kacchan. He missed him. But he didn’t need him.
TBC 🗡️
Rody paced back and forth at the campsite in the afternoon after receiving the message from Tatsu that he was going to bring some of Kaido’s favorite toys from the castle and ensure his safety. Rody wasn’t used to babies and Kaido was a fussy one.

“Waaah! Waaah!” He cried.
“Don’t worry, little guy.” Rody assured him. “Your brother will be here soon and then you can go back to hanging out in our nursery!”

“Mama!” Kaido sobbed. “MAMA!”

“Look, I love your Mom too but we gotta wait!!”

“Papa!!”

“I’m your new Papa! Get used to it!”
"Says who?" Izuku's voice startled him from the boat in the pond.

"Y-your higness?" Rody stumbled back. "What are you doing here?"

"I should be asking you what you're doing with my son?!" Izuku rowed to the dock at the campsite and Tatsu and Uraraka helped him out.
"I found him, your majesty! I was just about to return him! One of my men saw a masked intruder trying to make a break for it-"

"Save it, snake!" Tatsu seethed before pulling out his sword. "I told Mama all about what you tried to make me and Nee-chan do!"
"Give me the young prince!" Ochaco ran up to him. "Now!"

Rody handed the baby to her as Izuku pulled out his sword.

"H-hold on here? Tried? Make you?" Rody laughed. "Am I being set up here? YOU came to ME with your brother in your arms! You handed him over!"
"Enough Rody! I won't have you blame my son for your crimes! How dare you?" Izuku seethed. "Do you understand what position you put me in as queen? You put your entire country at risk! We have grounds to declare an all out war for your betrayal! So why?!"
Rody put his hands up and backed up slowly as Izuku pointed his sword at him.

"This isn't what it looks like... hold on, please! Listen to me!" He begged.

"Why should I listen to you?! You tried to poison my own children against me!" Izuku said angrily.
"You ripped my baby away from his home after failing to make his own family do it for you! That's unforgivable! I should have your head!"

"YOU WERE MISERABLE!" Rody cried. "Don't you get it?! I only did this for you! I couldn't stand it! How sad and lonely you were!"
"And then the second the king gave you an ounce of attention, you fell right into his trap again!"

"I didn't fall for any trap!" Izuku shoved him to the ground with his hilt. "I knew what I was getting myself into when I married Kacchan! I told you that!"
"I knew I might have a lonely life! But I wasn't miserable! Tatsu! Haruhi! Kaido! They mean everything to me! I signed up to be queen so mom couldbe taken care of! But I had a wonderful life too! Maybe Kacchan will turn away again! But it doesn't change how I feel about him!"
"It doesn't change how I feel about my family! My country! So how dare you try and take that away from me?!"

"I remember what you told me he said!" Rody seethed.

"Don't you repeat that in front of my son!" Izuku pointed his blade at his neck. "Be careful what you say, Prince!"
"Don't you get it?" Rody said shakily before putting his hand gently on the blade. "I see you as so much more than what that jerk does! I see how smart you are! How much you're capable of!"

"And what is that to you?!" Izuku turned the blade, cutting his hands. "YOUR bride?!"
"Because sure, it took him awhile, but Kacchan is finally seeing me for everything I know I am! He loves and accepts me! And I am now ruling this land with him at my side! So Rody Soul, I am arresting you for treason to my kingdom!"

"What are you saying, Bakugo Katsuki?!" Queen Yaoyourozu crossed her legs on her throne as Katsuki was on his knees.

"I'm saying my soldiers need to return home, your highness! And if our negotiations don't please you then take me as prisoner instead!"
“And leave your country without a king?” She pondered. “That would send all of the world into chaos.”

“It might be without a king, but just like your majesty, it has a well equipped queen to keep the world at peace! I selfishly didn’t want to see how capable he was until you-”
“humbled me! However, he is now carrying my 4th heir. So I selfishly want to return to be by his side. But if you must take me then allow him and my children to visit without hostility! That’s all I ask!” Katsuki wagered.

“Hmmm…” Yaoyourozu stood up.
“I’ve been watching your exploits as king for many years. The violent actions you’ve taken in the name of supposed world peace has made me more certain in my decision to keep our nation as hidden as it can be. But since our altercation, you’ve changed. I’ve kept my eye on you!”
“I’ve seen what you’ve done, and I hoped perhaps your selfishness would allow us to prosper in peace. So why offer such an insulting treaty?! What makes you think you have any right over my land after I spared your life?!” She seethed.
“That was a mistake!” Katsuki lifted his head up. “I stupidly let my men handle the treaty instead of coming here myself and thanking you for waking me up! You were wrong about me having nothing! I had the entire world by my side and I didn’t know it until our battle!”
“So let me offer you something real, not as king but as a husband and sire! Yuuei is forever in your debt! We will offer you our protection and not ask for anything in return! If peace is what you demand then that’s what you’re gonna get forever! But please, let my men return.”
TBC 🤴🏼

(Sorry for short update! Work was crazy today! But will finish either later this afternoon or tonight! Thanks so much!)
The queen crouched down and met his eyes before smirking. “I’d like to meet this queen. Only then will I sign any agreement with you. Mr. Changed King of Yuuei. In the meantime, I’ll let your men go! Don’t step foot in this country until I ask!” She demanded before walking away.
Katsuki sighed in relief as his soldiers were returned to him fed and taken care of.

“Oh man! I thought we were goners!” Eijiro cried upon reuniting with him. “You came back for us!”

“Of course I did!” Katsuki grumbled.

“I don’t know, I could stayed here.” Denki sighed.
“Our prison guard was what dreams are made of!” He swooned.

“Alright then! I’ll leave you!” Katsuki scoffed.

“No! Take me with you!!”

Katsuki stormed out to his riding horse. He wanted nothing more than to get back to his family. He couldn’t believe he offered to imprisoned.
He knew it was the right thing to do as king. It was pure habit. But Izuku was carrying his pup! What the hell was he thinking?! His family would never forgive him if the queen took the offer. He was grateful she didn’t. She saved his life again.
He just hoped when he returned his family was in one piece.

“I sincerely apologize your highness!!” King Eddie Soul bowed at Izuku’s throne. “I don’t know what the prince was thinking! But I assure you this does not reflect on Oseon’s desires!”
“If I knew Young Prince Kaido was in our hands, I would have returned him immediately! But please! Spare Rody! Release him from his prison and I will strip him of his title and have Prince Roro take his place in line instead! I will raise him as far more honorable! I swear!”
“Please stand, your highness.” Izuku demanded.

Eddie stood and faced him and felt his heart swell at the graceful smile the queen had on his face.

“I will return your son to you. But you must keep a watchful eye on him. I don’t want him near any of my children again.”
“Understood! Thank you! Thank you!”

Izuku ordered the guards to bring Rody out from his prison cell.

“Rody! What were you thinking?! You almost caused an all out war! Do you understand?! Many lives could have been lost!” Eddie scolded.

“I was set up, Father!”
“It was Prince Tatsu! He brought Kaido to me! He’s the one who-”

“Enough!”

“IT WAS TATSU!”

“You will not speak another word! My apologies, your highness!” Eddie scruffed Rody by his collar like a cat and stormed out.

Izuku sighed in relief that that was finally over.
He was glad Kacchan trusted him to lead the country, but truthfully, it was tiring while carrying a pup. He wanted nothing more than a walk through the garden with Kaido and a bath. But he had one more matter of business to attend to.

“See? You all should train with Mom!”
Tatsu bragged as he knocked another soldier down in one by one combat training in the soldier’s barracks.

“Oh really?” Izuku said, startling him.

“M-Mom? What are you doing here?!” Tatsu questioned as everyone bowed to him.

“I’m here to have a little spar with you!”
“You’re all dismissed!” Izuku waved to the soldiers.

“Yes, your highness!” All the guards bowed before leaving.

“You can’t spar like that!” Tatsu crossed his arms. “I’m not supposed to hurt you! It’s not fair!”

“It’s cute that you think you can.” Izuku challenged.
Tatsu puffed his cheeks and prepared his stance. “Don’t say you didn’t ask for it!”

“Come on.” Izuku grabbed a wooden sword. “No holding back now.”

And impossible ask but Tatsu was fired up as he charged at him directly, dodging as soon as his mother took a swing at him.
“TAKE THIS!” Tatsu aimed for his side but as soon as he thought he had an opening, Izuku grabbed his arm and threw him in front of him, tripping him over his ankle and elbowing him in the back, knocking him straight to the ground but holding him by his shirt before he could fall
“No fair!” Tatsu kicked his feet and flailed his arms like a feral cat before Izuku stood him up and put hand over eyes.

“I’m going to ask you a question and you need to be honest with me.” Izuku whispered in a voice that sent chills down Tatsu’s spine.
“Did you set Rody up and kidnap your brother?”

“Er…” Tatsu cleared his voice before grabbing Izuku’s wrist and spinning him around facing him. “As future King of Yuuei, knowing when to hold my tongue is a skill that will not only save my life, but this country!”
“As current Dam of Tatsu, knowing when to punish you is a necessity for you to be able to take the crown!” Izuku elbowed him in the gut and shoved him to the ground before pointing the wooden sword at him. “One month!” He seethed. “You will take Uraraka’s place as nurse of Kaido”
“I want you changing his diapers, feeding him, bathing him, telling him bed time stories and ensuring he is well entertained! If you don’t sufficiently care for your brother, I will tell your father to strip you of your title, understand?!” Izuku said angrily.

“Y-yes Mom…”
“Good!” Izuku sighed before changing his demeanor completely to a cheery one. “How about a picnic with your brother and sister? I’m starving!”

Tatsu sat up and nodded, dazed. At least Rody was gone for good and his mom was happy? He hoped his Dad would keep him that way…

Katsuki was exhausted after the long journey to Creati and back. As soon as he saw the beautiful hills and trees that signaled he was in Yuuei, he almost cried in relief. He missed his mate. He missed his kids. What other words did Kaido learn while he was gone?
Was Haruhi happy? Was Izuku? How was he taking leadership? His pregnancy? And what about Tatsu? He hoped he wasn't pissed at him for leaving. It has been five days, but he had already missed so much of their lives.

The familiar trumpets sounded, signaling his return.
Soldiers, servants, and high level staff scurried to greet him. But Katsuki only wanted to see any tuft of green.

"Welcome back, your highness!"

"Welcome!"

"Your majesty, so glad you returned!"

They all welcomed him.

"We are so honored you made it safely, my liege!"
Tenya greeted him.

"Where is he?" Katsuki grumbled.

"The queen? Why, he appears to be in the field with the children! They were eating and I was told they were not to be di- where are you going?!"

Katsuki steered his horse straight to the field.
He rode his horse as fast as he could and paused as he watched the scene in front of him. Izuku, and his kids laughing while they enjoyed their picnic under the willow tree. They were all so beautiful. Every one of them. Tatsu had a mix of both their features.
Curly blonde and black hair with Katsuki’s sharp red eyes, Izuku’s freckles and Katsuki’s pale sharp face. Haruhi was the spitting image of her dam. She had beautiful flowy green hair, Izuku’s bright green eyes, and soft round face. Kaido was of course his twin.
He wondered what their new pup would be like. He was so excited to meet them. He would definitely be in their lives from the beginning and be there for Izuku through every step of his pregnancy. Izuku… Katsuki watched him as he gently cleaned jelly off of Kaido’s cheeks.
He picked him up and looked at him so lovingly. Katsuki wondered why it took so long for him to come to his senses that he was the luckiest alpha on earth to be wed to such an amazing guy. His thoughts were interrupted when Izuku’s green eyes looked into his and he smiled wide.
“Kacchan! Welcome home!”

Tears poured down Katsuki’s face as his family ran toward him. He quickly dismounted the horse before catching his beautiful mate in his arms.

“Yo.” He whispered as Izuku purred heavily. “Everything alright while I was gone?”
Izuku and the kids looked at each other knowingly before he planted a large kiss on Katsuki’s lips.

“Everything was just fine! We’re just glad you’re home!”

Katsuki kissed him back and held them all tight, even his bratty son. Home. Where he had everything.

Thank you all so much for reading! My thought process for this was “bkdk. Babies. Lots of them. Angst too? Why not?” Haha. Izuku is pregnant with twins by the way! A boy and a girl! What did Tatsu name them? You can decide 🤣

Midoriya Izuku didn’t have the best of luck. He was a male omega which also meant he didn’t have the best of choices. And by that, he meant he had 0 choices. He was sold to marry an alpha he disliked who had a career he hated.
Monoma Neito made a career out of tricking people. That was how he ended up married to him in the first place. He convinced his family he was a noble with a family in a far away land that would give Izuku the world. He was no such thing. He was a traveling conman.
Izuku was forced to follow him from place to place with new identities, and new disguises and new ways to con people out of money. He didn’t know how his husband got away with getting luxurious homes in all these towns, but convincing people you had money was surprisingly easy.

Midoriya Kazui was excited as his dam dressed him up in his best clothes. Combed his unruly spiky hair, and put the smell good stuff all over him. It was a routine he was used to and something he found fun.

"Today, I'm gonna do it!" Izuku puffed his cheeks.
"Yeah! There's lantern sharks! And Lemon sharks and Whale sharks! And Nurse sharks!" Kazui and the kid, Mahiro became fast friends. Kazui ended up following him and his family all through the aquarium.

"You should come have dinner with us!" Mahiro begged.
"Yeah! That sounds fun!" Kazui completely forgot about his class as he walked out of the aquarium with them to the parking lot.

"Where are your parents, dear?" Kazui's mother asked him. "We're happy Mahiro made a friend, but.. maybe it's time you go back with your Mama?"

CW: Self Harm, Dark themes (But major healing and love at end!)

Midoriya Izuku lived his biggest dream as the number one hero. It was a short time, but it was the best time of his life. He lost One for All at 23 years old and now he was back to being quirkless.
Izuku gratefully guzzled the water as Katsuki held his head to his heart and let him hear it beat. He always knew exactly what to do.

“Kacchan, you had a hard night last night.” Izuku reminded him. “I saw the news, you were helping those civilians evacuate for hours.”
“The last thing you need to worry about is my runny eggs!”

“Izuku!” Katsuki kissed him. “When we got married, I made an oath. In sickness and in health, damnit! Helping you and your runny eggs is my job that I take seriously!”

Izuku smiled gratefully at him.

Bakugo Katsuki was a very important businessman. No, he was more like a business tyrant. Needless to say, he was extremely busy and this annoying ass wedding planner was the last of his worries. He looked at his assistant,
“I had the wrong idea about you. Thank you for watching over my son. Please continue to allow him to be part of your success.” Inko bowed.

“It wouldn’t be success without him.” Katsuki smirked before standing up. “I’ll try and take more days off for the both of us.”

Izuku jolted awake as his alarm blared for him to get ready for work. Shit! Was he at his mom’s?! He hadn’t slept here in two years, at least. His began to pound. Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no no no!

How much did he drink last night?! What did he do?!

“Are you boys ready for your first day?” Bakugo Mitsuki excitedly asked her son and his childhood friend as they walked out of the house.

“Don’t you dare snap a picture!” Katsuki seethed.
“I am excited, thank you Auntie.” Izuku smiled at her politely and let her take a photo. He then followed Kacchan out the door nervously.

“You better walk behind me!” Katsuki roared.

“Whatever you say, Kacchan.” Izuku said dejectedly. Their relationship was bad.
Izuku could only blame himself for it. He kept his distance from the alpha. But he had to live with him, and unbeknownst to Katsuki, he had to have a future with him. Because they were married.

Izuku wished he could be blissfully unaware of this fact like Kacchan was.

Midoriya Izuku took a deep breath as he looked into the morning sunrise. He needed to do it. He needed to confess his love to Kacchan. Ever since the war, things between them were nice… but awkward. There was something unspoken. A looming tension.
“I wish it were that easy, but the other world has enchanted objects! The other me insisted the Kacchan from that world was great at tricking people with it! I know the Kacchan from our world would never hurt Kazu, but I can’t risk it not being that Kacchan!” Izuku stressed.
“I get it.” Katsuki sighed as he stared down at the journal. “It’s really ours, huh? The brat?”

Izuku paused for a moment. “Yeah… he’s a lot like you.”

They stared at each other as that thought set in. They had a child that they made together. Out of love.
