In Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, a Muslim youth was asked his name and religion; when he told his name and religion, he was attacked with a knife by three people. The youth has been admitted to the district hospital in critical condition.+
A mob in Jharkhand stopped a 42-year-old Muslim man named Manzoor Khan while he was riding through the village of Balidih on a motorcycle. They asked him his name and ruthlessly started beating him over the accusation of stealing a cow.+
