#Thread on anti-Muslim violence in the last 24 hours and how the anti-Muslim violence broke out across India in the name of the Shobha Yatra. The minor incidents that earlier used to happen have now turned into a considerable amount of arson and violence against Muslims.+

In the Muslim-dominated Kiradpura area of the old city in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, a group of youths on bikes shouted provocative slogans against Muslims, which led to an altercation with locals. The situation escalated into violence, with stone pelting and vehicle torching.+

In Lakhisarai, Bihar, Bajrang members brandished swords and played provocative songs during Shoba Yatra.

“Those who like Pakistan should go to Pakistan. We will not stop them but provide free tickets.”+

In Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, a Muslim youth was asked his name and religion; when he told his name and religion, he was attacked with a knife by three people. The youth has been admitted to the district hospital in critical condition.+

A mob in Jharkhand stopped a 42-year-old Muslim man named Manzoor Khan while he was riding through the village of Balidih on a motorcycle. They asked him his name and ruthlessly started beating him over the accusation of stealing a cow.+

Members of Bajrang Dal took out a rally in Kishanganj, Bihar on the occasion of Navratri, in which Muslims were abused.+

In Jharkhand's Bhurkunda Bari, Dhanbad. A Muslim youth was attacked by a mob and chained to a tree after they claimed that his family members slaughtered a bull. The mob also used violence, overturning several police vehicles.+ twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

Hindu extremists with saffron flag climbed the wall of the mosque outside Jama Masjid in Mathura as part of Ram Navami celebrations.+

Locals in Vadodara, Gujarat, have accused the police of acting arbitrarily following the dispute. After Iftar, a large number of Muslims have been arrested by the police, and many people have also been beaten up. Almost 12 people have been admitted to the hospital.+

This video is from Gujarat's Vadodara. The police are accused of entering a Muslim woman's house at the time of breaking the fast and destroying all the belongings. They didn't even give them a chance to break their fast.+

In Malad, Mumbai, during the Ram Navami rally, Hindutva mob stopped outside a mosque in Malwani and raised provocative slogans, causing tension in the area. The police resorted to lathicharge to bring the situation under control.

In Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, despite last year violence episodes an attempt was made to give a communal colour to the atmosphere. Hindutva goons replaced the green flag with a saffron flag during the procession of Ramnavami at Hazrat Kale Khan's dargah.+
