This #mosque was built in 16th century A.D. It is built in Indo-Persian style.
It consists of an open courtyard with a rectangular frame of multi foliated arches.The front fa ade of the #mosque consists of multi-foliated arches in a rectangular frame along with four minarets and decorative niches on the front fa ade
The parapet wall is semi-circular consisting of kangoora battlement pattern. The interior of the mosque is decorated with beautiful mosaic work on the spandrels of the arches, niches and ceilings. The mihrab has a pointed arch.
The structure is built of bricks and mortar along with paint and other material like iron and glass used in the windows.

12 km NW of Maur Mandi is the village of Balianwali.
It appears to be a normal village but in its centre is a fort built by the maternal grandfather of #MaharajaRanjitSingh
#Balianwali actually belonged to Alam Singh, brother of Gajpat Singh but when he died falling off a horse,so the estate passed on the Gajpat Singh in 1764 who built this mud and brick fort in response to strengthen his position.
