There are more than 1.1million people receiving these payments. People studying, people who are caring, single parents, people who have an illness or disability and people trying to find paid work, young and older people all facing financial destitution. 2/5

The vast majority of people on JobSeeker & other allowances are in severe financial distress. Until payments are substantially increased for all, we will continue to see people going without food, without essential medication & unable to afford to keep a roof over their head. 4/5
