Can mantra chanting bring financial abundance?

A thread. 🧵

#spirituality #mantra Image
There are many misconceptions about whether Mantras can bring about material benefits.
As per the Vedic view, Sadhana is not a substitute for the right Karma or action.

The results come from #Karma alone.

However, when hard work is backed by the right thinking, Sadhana can begin to work wonders.
The #Vedas are replete with Sadhanas that can aid material pursuits. Teamed up with the right kind and amount of work, it can tune a Sadhak’s energy with the cosmic energy and aid their material progress.
A Sadhak can begin with the Mahalakshmi #Sadhana or even participate in the highly potent Sri Suktam Sadhana this Diwali when it goes live on the Sadhana App.
Inner poverty blocks our ability to see the abundant gifts inherent in nature and in our relationships with others.

The ultimate goal of Sadhana is to eliminate these blocks and empower us to experience the fullness of life.

What are the stages of Bhakti?

A thread. 🧵

#bhakti #spirituality Image
Of the many paths to finding one's truth, the path of Bhakti is the most beautiful.

If one is to realise their truth through Bhakti, it requires
complete surrender.
As they say, Rome was not built in a day. The same goes for the path of Bhakti.

A bond between a Bhakt and His Bhagavān requires time to strengthen, mature and blossom.

Isn't it rather ironic that we do not use the power of Japa as much?

It's like having a nurturing grandpa yet not asking for candy.

Japa is a powerful way to embody the infinite energy in our body, yet here we are!
Firefighting in our natural existence, eking out a life dealing with the forces of nature just as the waves of sea overpower a piece of wood.

Well, there is another way!
Use the awakened mantras seen by the sages of Sanatana Dharma and get the stability of an ocean liner even when the ocean is choppy.

As we wake up, our minds are still in a state of rest.

Our scriptures say Mananāt trāyatē iti mantrah. Continuous repetition (Mananāt) of that which protects (trāyatē) from suffering is called mantra.

When we lose ourselves in chanting mantras, something magical happens. Breath becomes deeper and our focus starts to shift.
1/n

The energy of the mantra begins to engage with our soul. The Sanskrit syllables become sparkling waves in sunlight and bathe us with joy, hope and purification.
2/n

Starting today, we bring you the essential mantras that have been practiced and awakened by the ancient sages of India. Apart from healing and protection, these mantras bring material and spiritual abundance.

Om Gam Ganapataye Namah!

Mind is regarded as the ‘Advaita Shakti’. It holds the key to either set us on a path of glory; or set us on a path of dishonour. Image
1/n

In Srimad Bhagawad Gita, Sri Krishna says that we are responsible for our own ascend to a higher siddhi, and the fall as well. It depends on the path we choose.
2/n

The path of Dharma will lead us to a deeper connection within; and the path of ‘Trishna’ (insatiable desire) will lead us to vanity.
