So i chose this kind of breed after a doing good research among my community farmers and realised it could help accumulate me profits .

It is imperative that you source your Kuroiler chicken from a reputable Kuroiler supplier. The reason for this is that you get either F1 or F2. Kuroiler F1 is the closest to the parent stock, while Kuroiler F2 is bred from the F1 stock. The closer to the parent stock, the better

better the genetics, hence higher productivity

Without a waste of time, here are the mainest reasons as to why i had to change my mind and go for kurioler farming in brief;

🐓. Egg Laying
Kuroiler hens are prolific layers and can produce up to 150 eggs per year. The eggs are small to medium in size and have a light brown shell.

🐓.Body Weight
The body weight of a Kuroiler typically falls between 2.5 and 3.5 kg thus hens and cocks respectively.

🐓.Kuroilers are active birds and enjoy scavenging for food. They are also known to be very friendly and calm around people.

🐓.Kuroilers are a hardy breed and are able to tolerate a variety of climates and environments. They are also resistant to many common chicken diseases although this doesnot mean you shouldnt vaccinate them.

🐓.They can live entirely on kitchen remains agricultural waste and scavenging for worms and other insects.

🐓.Kuroilers are easy to manage and can be kept in both backyard and commercial settings hence cheap costs.

NB. kuriolers can make good returns when sold that is a good cock weighing 3.5kgs could earn you between 45,000-50,000ugx while you are still getting some moneh from eggs laid until moulting period that it may weigh 2.5kgs and sell at 35,000ugx hence profits.

However it has challenged most farmers that forget to consider the such as following the vaccination program, provision of laying nests, control of diseases to those under free range chicken etc.
