1/ Article by @LahavHarkov@Jerusalem_Post: PCHR - one of the NGOs leading international legal attacks against ๐ฎ๐ฑ - openly expressed support for โarmed struggleโ against Israel.
โ๏ธIn 2023 the org received funding from the European Union and Switzerland.

2/ Immediately following the recent #Israel-#Gaza conflict the Gaza-based PCHR publicly declared its affirmation of the "right of the Palestinian people to resist the occupation by all available means, including armed struggle." This NGO is funded by the ๐ช๐บ, ๐จ๐ญ, ๐ณ๐ด, and ๐ฎ๐ช.
3/ To be clear, each and every rocket fired from Gaza at #Israel is a war crime. It is unconscionable that a so-called human rights group would suggest thousands of war crimes are legitimate "resistance".
4/ PCHR is one of the NGOs targeting Israeli officials, especially at the #ICC. The org brags that it โinvests all its resourcesโ in anti-Israel legal campaigns. These โresourcesโ are millions in funding from European governments.
5/ The Swiss govโt - a longstanding supporter of PCHR - approved a $380,000 grant for the org between 2021-2024. The org is in breach of their obligation to โrefrain from incitement to violence or hatred" - per the copy of contract we obtained.
6/ In April 2022, the EU granted PCHR 475,000 euros. Notably, the @Europarl_EN just passed a resolution urging the @EU_Commission to halt funding for orgs engaging in incitement to terrorism, hate speech, religious extremism, or support for violence.
7/ From 2019-2021, PCHR received 81,000 euros from Ireland and $680,000 from Norway. It remains unclear whether these grants have been renewed or continued.
8/ If calls for โarmed struggleโ and the Hague campaign aren't enough to question the NGO's European funding, a few years ago we presented concrete evidence of ties btwn 5 PCHR officials and the PFLP terror group (whose members were active in the latest Gaza conflict, btw).
9/ It is absurd that an NGO that calls for violence against Jews, endorses terrorism, and legally persecutes Israelis is funded by Israelโs "allies". We've reached out to the donor governments, demanding a review of their financial backing for PCHR.
.@WashingtonPost alleges the IDF targeted civilians in #Nablus bc surfaced videos "don't clearly show whether the man [they targeted] had a gun or fired.โ Terror-designated @DCIPalestine, quoted by the Post, admits the same videos show a Palestinian man shooting at the soldiers.>
.@DCIPalestine's own report states the IDF shot at a gunman - but changed their tone when quoted in the @washingtonpost: โ'Israeli military rules of engagement have shifted over the past few years to permit live fire where no threat is posed to Israeli forces.'โ
This distortion of the truth to give credence to an anti-Israel hit piece is another display of DCI-Pโs complete disregard for the Palestinian youth they claim to protect. Instead they continue to defend the terrorists who used 16-year-old Mohammed Shaaban as a human shield.
1/ Our new 80-page report on the links between 6 Palestinian NGOs designated by @gantzbe in 2021 and the PFLP gives lie to the claim by European funders that there is โno evidenceโ of such ties >>
2/ Irrespective of the information possessed by the Israeli gov't, there is overwhelming, publicly available evidence that ties these NGOs to the PFLP. On its own, this should have been enough of a reason for European governments not to fund and/or partner with the NGOs.
3/ Our report identifies more than 60 NGO officials with links to the PFLP, including some who have been convicted for planning and/or executing terrorist attacks.
Five of the NGOs have highly visible organizational links to the PFLP.
We are LIVE at the @KnessetT - NGO Monitor President @GeraldNGOM is presenting at a discussion hosted by Minister of Diaspora Affairs @AmichaiChikli on the findings of the ministryโs annual report on #antisemitism.
@KnessetT@GeraldNGOM@AmichaiChikli@IrwinCotler .@GeraldNGOM: As @AmichaiChikli said, it's tens of millions every year, and over the years, it's more than hundreds of millions of euros per year. I want to bring a few examples to demonstrate the exploitation of the moral framework of human rights and int'l law.
@KnessetT@GeraldNGOM@AmichaiChikli@IrwinCotler .@GeraldNGOM: As @IrwinCotler said, the religion of the 21st century is the religion of human rights. And these orgs, through their European patrons, are exploiting that moral framework in order to promote hate, to promote antisemitism, and to undermine the IHRA definition.
1/ BREAKING: The @UN_HRC permanent Commission of Inquiry on Israel released its first report. The biased report reflects the #UNHRC's obsession with attacking #Israel: it ignores context, makes false racism claims and minimizes the role of terror groups.
2/ Most of this report repeats language from previous UN documents, such as the discredited Goldstone report and an #UNRWA fundraising appeal. The cited UN reports in turn, are largely based on unverified claims from activist NGOs.
3/ The report reflects the COIโs secrecy and raises questions as to how the Commissioners were chosen and who is writing their reports. They disingenuously claim to want to hear both sides, but to the best of our knowledge only met with NGOs advancing the Palestinian narrative.
