Happy to share that we have received research funding from the RSSDI for our Precision Medicine project called Diabetology.co.in.

Diabetology.co.in is India's first and only evidenced based precision medicine & personalized medicine platform for diabetes made for the doctors and by the doctors.
The project is mentored by Dr. Arvind Gupta, a legend in this field from Jaipur.

We thank the RSSDI Research team, especially Dr. @banshisaboo and @dramitaol for giving us this opportunity.
We also thank all the mentors present at the event.

1/5: 🩸 The Hemoglobin Glycation Index (HGI) compares a person’s actual HbA1c level to their predicted level based GMI (glucose management index) value from CGM

Just to reiterate

The @ADA_DiabetesPro guidelines recommend Lifestyle measures plus pharmacotherapy as first-line therapy in patients newly diagnosed to have Type 2 Diabetes

The point being there should not be any delay in starting pharmacotherapy for type 2 dm

The guidelines also clearly state that those presenting with catabolic symptoms at the time of first presented should be started on insulin which can then be stopped once the glucotoxicity is resolved

To understand "Noise", we need to first understand "Recurrent decisions"

A recurrent decision is something that is made repeatedly on a day-to-day basis.

For example, an Endocrinologist making a decision on the treatment plan for a patient with Type 2 Diabetes
An Endocrinologist makes such a decision several times during a day, many hundred times a week.

Let us say we do a clinical audit of the treatment plan given by the two different Endocrinologists based on a similar set of patients. Let us call it Audit A
