So many "useful idiots" who are promoting a World Economic Forum agenda involving extreme frugality, fanatical saving, and a zero consumption mindset. Adopting mediocrity so you can live a life on par with a broke co-ed is not a financial plan. Here's 7 things to do instead:
#1) Don't become a Klaus Schwab stooge and adopt "settling for less" as a financial strategy. Real financial freedom doesn't involve budgets, stock market allegiance, and blind hope and patience.
#2) Start a business. But not just any business, it must be a business that meets the CENTS commandments, of pertinence, it must eventually divest yourself from the "time-for-money" trade and work while you're not working. Systems work 24/7. You work whenever.
#3) Target a market large enough to change your life. IOW, your value/solution must be meaningful to enough people, and be reachable to those people. #getrich #money #wealth #finance #investing #fastlane
#4) Providing value is not enough. It must be RELATIVE value. Sure your blog full of fitness tips might be valuable, but it isn't RELATIVELY valuable. Relative value is what compels someone to buy, assuming the right marketing messages.
#5) Aim for a "productocracy" which is a product that PULLS vs PUSHES: 1 new customer = 2 thru word of mouth. A productocracy survives and grows without advertising. If your business stops when you stop advertising, you have a product problem. An ad-dependent business = PUSH.
#6) Learn how to sell and market. You can have the cure to cancer, but not knowing how to sell it equals zero sales. Once sales begin, a productocracy burns like wildfire, creating asymmetric returns,
#7) Persistence: Never give up and manage expectations. #Entrepreneurship is like swinging at a baseball. So if you "try" and give up after 2 at bats, you will never get a hit. You can't be a good baseball player with only 2 at bats. Act, assess, adjust. Repeat.
Visit The Fastlane Forum and surround yourself with high-achievement entrepreneurs who aspire for better than culture's default prescription of mediocrity and obedience.
Getting rich has nothing to do with stupid saving and frugality schemes. Check out my latest book, The Great Rat Race Escape as it is a full length novel that gives you a front row seat to how the RICH, really get RICH. Also includes 100+ strategies. thegreatratraceescape.com

Want to know how to kill your dreams? Adopt the phrase, "I don't know how."

I hear from so many people who love the crutch, "I don't know how to [blank]" and as such, do nothing. If you want any chance at success, you must eliminate this phrase from your life. Here's how:
#1) Recognize that everything you learn today will serve you tomorrow.

If you don't know how, then find out how. Stop with the damn excuses.

An old education rarely fits a new opportunity.
#2) Recognize that change is constant, so your learning and education must also be constant.

Every success in my life was because I sought new knowledge and skills. My education did not END at graduation, it STARTED.

In 2007, I launched The Fastlane Forum and met 1000s of aspiring entrepreneurs over the years. I soon discovered a complex reality that most of them are LIARS—not to others, but to themselves. Here are the 9 common lies failed entrepreneurs tell themselves:
LIE #1: I'm not good at X.
Yes you're not. No one is born an instant expert. We all crawled before we walked. Seinfeld's first words weren't a joke. Ronaldo didn't emerge from mom with a football. The question is, if you aren't good at X, what do you need to do to get good at X?
LIE #2: I don't have time for business.
You don't have time because it isn't a priority. Call of Duty comes first. Sleep. The 55th Sox game. Would you "find time" if failure in the next 3 months meant the death of the loved one? You would. What's most important always finds time.

As The Fastlane Forum approaches 1 million posts, I've heard from many people over the years. One item worth mentioning: Many people unnecessarily complicate entrepreneurship. Simplified, successful Fastlane entrepreneurship boils down to 3 things...
Focus on these 3 things, and you will eventually succeed.

#1) Create relative value
Have you created a product/service that is noticeably different from what is already offered in the marketplace? This is the product development stage.
#2) Convince people of that value.
Can you convince people of that value to a buying threshold? This is the marketing, positioning, and the branding stage.
