Day 3 of covid infection for my 6 year old. It’s been horrific. This evening has been torrential nose bleeds and this is what his skin now looks like. It NEVER looked like this before, he’s never suffered with nose bleeds. #LongCovidKids #LongCovid #MedTwitter 
Thank you for all the replies. I called 111 and am waiting on a call now within the hour apparently. His nose bleeds have stopped. I am getting ready to take him in. Difficulty is I have Covid too. My husband has covid and is in bed unable to move. My 8yr old is still awake.
Update: saw a Dr. Said she wasn’t concerned as ‘Covid doesn’t affect chn’. But also said that loads of children are left with skin like this 🤷🏽♀️ plus bad nose bleeds as it ‘does something to the blood vessels’. We came home. She had a blue surgical worn mask under her nose 🤦🏽♀️😷🦠
Thank you for all the concern. Something must change. We are ruining our children’s long term health by letting them be infected repeatedly. Doctors on the front line are totally blasé about covid. The Doctor last night only referred to it in the past tense.
Further update: he is much brighter today. He had more nose bleeds yesterday and his skin is still very mottled, even on his face. But he’s in good spirits. Still testing positive on day 5. I’ve disabled comments on here bc of a few people being vile. Can’t deal with that atm.
