Kharkiv residents are furious with Russians for what they did to the city and its people. Even so, they are even more angry with those of #Belgorod for one particular reason. "They came here for years to shop, eat our good food, went to the theaters, and now hit us daily" 1/7

So, people in Kharkiv notice that at the time of the bombing, those who used to come to the city in the past, now joy at the shelling in the various Telegram channels of Belgorod (there are many of them; one can read comments) 3/7
Locals testify: at least until 2014, these people have been coming to Kharkiv for decades, for shopping at the Barabashovo market, the biggest in Eastern Europe, bombed-out by Russian troops in March 2022 (my pics from last year) 4/7 
As food culture in the city is very good, Russians also came here to spend the evening in cozy bars and restaurants. Even now, during the full-fledged war, locals in Kharkiv make it so tasty, as a mix of traditional and modern eating (some photos here) 5/7
Russians came to cultural events, as Kharkiv always was a progressive metropolis, within easy reach from Belgorod (it less than 80km) Everything the most interesting cultural events happened in Kharkiv, so Russians often came here 6/7
After 2014, and now with the start of the great war, "those who used to enjoy what Kharkiv had to offer now bombing us," - locals in Kharkiv constantly remember this in their conversations 7/7
