What is tokenomics (token economics)? You can find a few different definitions but it really means; will the token go up based on the design of how it is used. Some tokenomics are gimmicks like "token burn" why would you need to "burn" something that is already in high demand?

Imagine burning a rookie Michael Jordan basketball card just so the remaining ones would be more valuable because "now there's even less". Sounds maybe a little silly no? If there's true DEMAND why you burning it 🤷‍♂️

Perhaps some token burns are more purposeful than the above mentioned example but lets move on.

"Token not needed" lets start somewhere diff than most of these threads. It would be easy for me to link you to the economics 2.0 paper but hold that thought. DEMAND is the most important function for any token to accrue value. Without DEMAND your tokeneconomy will be gimmicky

What is the DEMAND for Chainlink services? Web3 services backbone, infrastructure provider ticker $LINK. I see nothing but🤡that clearly understand the DEMAND for Chainlink services but somehow think because the token economy isn't currently built out that it never will be?

If you only invest in the present and not the future you will never be early. You cannot be early without some level of faith, belief, optimism, because being early means being in before everyone else and before proven beyond shadow of a doubt.

Thus early believers are full of faith, energy, memetic cult like focus that what will do anything to will their prophecy to the promised land #linkmarines @ltoadnft

Staking doesn't mean shit without DEMAND. Everything in web3 is meaningless without DEMAND, other than art. Even nolinkers admit Chainlink has DEMAND but OVERALL Web3 DEMAND is so small compared to 2027 and beyond. #CHAINLINK is probably the most in DEMAND service in WEB3 BUT

Web3 is in it's infancy, compared to the internet in 1998 based on the adoption curve. We still had headlines calling the internet a FAD in 2000!!!

What's the incentive for the team to $LINK the token to all that sweet, sweet DEMAND. The obvious one is "follow the money" but hold off for just a minute on that. Web3 economies are token based: I don't make the rules, literally they don't work without a token.

Hey guess who holds a lot those $LINK tokens (the $LINK team), if you've already won the battle for DEMAND, next up finish building out your Economics 2.0 white paper (video format).

The Chainlink team has quite literally the biggest incentive to finish building out the token economy that accrues value back into the very token they own the most of...oh yeah they brought Eric Schmidt (ex Google) on board to help scale, apparently he likes tokenomics. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Eric Schmidt chose to spend time flying to the last Smartcon and speaking alongside Sergey and is reported to be attending this years in Barcelona.

Moving along to the most recent post from @chainlink check out the image below and think about "Metcalfe's Law" points on a network. Quite literally a network of networks in this image.

If a network is valued by the number of points on it wouldn't that mean that a network connecting all the other networks would have a lot of value. #CCIP

Wallet growth hasn't even started for @chainlink. One sign you're early is that only a small passionate group support and echo the mission and vision #linkmarines a group that includes many OGs from early days. That's how $BTC was, $ETH was, and how $LINK currently is...

Many of the most successful web3 companies are not only using Chainlink but quite literally partnered with them, actively helping them test new products.

Haterz say "it's been to long," haterz say "when real staking", haterz say anything negative to take away from all the positive synergy that's happening right in front of your eyes. Those haterz aren't building anything and they are not bringing anything positive to the space.
