⚾ Los Angeles Dodgers' pitcher Clayton Kershaw voices his disagreement with the team's choice to honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence during #PrideNight and calls for the relaunch of Christian Faith and Family Day. ImageImage
🚫 Kershaw believes making fun of religions is not acceptable and opposes the satirical portrayal of Christianity by the Sisters group. He clarifies that his issue is only with this group, not the entire LGBTQ+ community.
🔄 The Dodgers initially uninvited the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence from the event due to backlash from conservative politicians and Catholic groups, but later reversed their decision after more outcry.
🗓️ The Christian Faith and Family Day, pushed by Kershaw, is scheduled for July 30. The event is expected to include a Q&A session on top of the Dodgers' dugout.
