Inhaling wildfire smoke can be extremely dangerous for human health. The smoke contains a mixture of gases and fine particles that can penetrate deep into the respiratory system and cause a range of health problems, including:
1. Respiratory Issues: The smoke can irritate the eyes, nose, throat, and lungs, causing coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest pain. It can also exacerbate existing respiratory conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and bronchitis.
2. Cardiovascular Issues: The fine particles in the smoke can enter the bloodstream and cause inflammation, leading to increased risk of heart attacks, stroke, and other cardiovascular problems.
3. Immune System Suppression: Wildfire smoke can suppress the immune system, making individuals more susceptible to infections and illnesses.
4. Long-term Health Effects: Exposure to wildfire smoke over an extended period can lead to chronic respiratory diseases, including lung cancer.
5. Risk of Death: In extreme cases, breathing in wildfire smoke can lead to death, particularly among vulnerable populations such as the elderly, children, and individuals with pre-existing health conditions.
@CTurlington generously supporting the cause (pre-pandemic before anyone freaks out that we’re indoors).
I almost lost my life to Lyme after it went to my ❤️ while a dozen “top” docs just thought I was stressed 😠.
Chronic Lyme caused beloved, brilliant @dukemedicine oncologist/ scientist @drneilspector to lose his ❤️, have a transplant, and sadly, ultimately die in June 2020 from it.
He wanted everyone to know he died from chronic Lyme. He was one of my dearest friends.
. @drneilspector turned his attention to link between Lyme, bartonella, & cancer before his death. He believed these pathogens likely caused cases of various cancers, including some breast cancers.
📣 SO proud to share I was an assoc producer on this stunning documentary on the ravages & coverup of chronic #Lyme.
Among others, it features esteemed Duke oncologist @drneilspector, who died from chronic Lyme.
Thank you, @MarkRuffalo for revealing your personal experience.

No airborne organ damage while seeking medical care! 🧠 ♥️ 🫁
Rebel against this insanity.
Healthcare workers should be wearing respirators to BLOCK TRANSMISSION CHAINS, and so should the patients they take care of, if possible.
To be clear, I am not advocating for cloth or surgical masks. I am advocating for respirators, because they work to stop transmission.
It should ALWAYS have been the case that the public be honestly informed abt “masks,” & that #COVIDisAirborne & cloth / surgical masks are extremely inadequate.
N95s have been widely available for YEARS now but public still told, “just wear a mask. Or 2.”
“Yes, kids. The government didn’t protect citizens. In fact, they made it impossible for everyone not to get SARS over & over if they wanted to be part of society.
They spent trillions on biodefense & none of it mattered in the end.”
“And no, kids, it’s not normal for your little friends to be dying on the playground or winding up in the hospital for STREP. It’s just the natural consequence of the government failing to protect us from SARS & allowing it to rip through the population unchecked w no cures.”
