arrested and In jail, he met Gopinath Bordoloi, Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed, Debeswar Sarma, and Pitambar Dev Goswami. After 2 years and 18 days in Jorhat Central jail, Sonaram was released on 22 Dec 1944.
