The soft launch of the two new LRT lines (LRT Jabobek, meaning Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Bekasi - it doesn't run through Depok nor Bogor though, for now) is still slated for July 12 when passengers can use the system for free for a while. #LRTJabodebek#ujicoba#trialrun#LRT#Jakarta
Free is not entirely correct, as the cashless system used in the Greater Jakarta area doesn't allow for fares to be 0 rupiah, so you'll pay 1 rupiah instead. Apparently the operator didn't find this out until late last month. 😬
The two lines that will start is commercially split into three lines to make it easier to understand what train is going where. Let's run through these as well.
The trunk (green) of the line will be the stretch between Dukuh Atas (skywalk integration with commuterline trains, MRT Jakarta and the busway system) and Cawang towards the southeast, which has integration with the commuterline as well. Trains here will run every 5 min.
The longest branch in distance (red) is towards the south, the future Bogor line, but it now terminates at the southern end of Cibubur, just a few hundred meters from the provincial border, as these are apparently hard to cross? Trains here will run every 10 min.
The second arm (purple) of this little network will run towards Bekasi Timur (East Bekasi) and will also run every 10 minutes. This is also the location of the main train depot, which has been filled with trains eager to get to work for months now.
Uh oh. Received a schedule change for a flight tomorrow. 5 hours late. With #AirAsia. Let's see if we can reach them to get clarification, as the flight is still listed at the original departure time everywhere in their system.
@airasia_indo@AVA_airasia@airasia I booked my ticket through an agent, but they can't see the change as well. Your AVA doesn't allow me to do anything really, except for being pointed back to my agent, that doesn't see any change.
It slipped under my radar because I have PR card for #Indonesia, but signed into law mid February were new prices for visas to Indonesia. And they are high, very high, if you ask me.
Not listed is the price of a visa on arrival, as this has not increased and still is 500.000 rupiah, some 33 euro per traveler. That's twice the price it was years and years ago, but that's fine.
#GarudaIndonesia posts record loss of 2.4 billion USD over FY 2020. It took quite some time, it's over half way down 2021 already, but Indonesia's state-owned airline has finally published their numbers. Highlights? Here we go. (1/9)
Main points: 1. Sales down 68% YoY compared to the last non-corona year of 2019. 2. Liabilities exceed assets by a whopping 3.8 billion USD. 3. Negative cash-flow of 96.5 mil USD in 2020. (2/9)
What else, well.. this: "[...] Garuda's auditor PwC assigned a "no opinion" on the financial results - given when an auditor cannot judge whether a company's accounts have been properly created - which would further undermine investor confidence in the carrier." (3/9)
