2. Shri Ram had been born to devi Kaushalya & King Dasharatha in Ayodhya, the ruler of the Kingdom of Kosala. His siblings included,Bharata, Lakshmana
& Shatrughna.
भये प्रकट कृपाला दीन दयाला कौसल्या हितकारी |
हरषित महतारी मुनि मन हारी अद्धुत रूप निहारी ||
3. Maha Rishi Vasishtha was his guru. Being the creator of the Universe he becomes the humble student of a Guru to learn the same knowledge he created and offered to the world.
गुरू ब्रह्मा गुरू विष्णु, गुरु देवो महेश्वरा गुरु साक्षात परब्रह्म, तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नमः
4. King Janaka organised a swaymver & announced Sita would be wed to the man who could lift and string the Shiva Dhanush.
Shri ram broke it & married to mata Sita.
5. Left everything just to fullfill his father's vachan . Maa sita and laxman ji teaches us that relations are not meant only for good times but for bad times too.
11. Fought for the protection of
dharma. Rejected to take the ownership of Lanka.
For him his Materbhoomi Ayodhya
was above of all.
अपि स्वर्णमयी लंका न मे लक्ष्मण रोचते
जननी जन्मभूमिश्च स्वर्गादपि गरीयसी!!
12. Even before the war he gave enough chance to his biggest enemy Ravan to surrender.
That shows his generosity & kindnesses.
श्री राम चंद्र कृपालु भजमन हरण भाव भय दारुणम् ।
नवकंज लोचन, कंज मुख, कर कंज, पद कन्जारुणम
13. #ShriRam Ruled as no king ever does. Ram Rajya is still the best example of good governance.
राम रामेति रामेति रमे रामे मनोरमे।
सहस्त्र नाम तत्तुन्यं राम नाम वरानने।।
14. He is maryadapuroshotam. He has always showed kindness and love to all.
नाम पाहरु दिवस निसि ध्यान तुम्हार कपाट
लोचन निजपद जंत्रित जाहि प्राण केहि बाट
15. There is no name greater than Sri Ram.
There is no bhakt bigger than Hanuman.
ॐ ऐं भ्रीम हनुमते, श्री राम दूताय नमः
Shri Ram ia the epitome of Sanatan Sanskriti. Maryadapuroshotam who had never compromised on the path of dharma. His life is full of learning and inspiring.
