While American bravado and propaganda are remarkable, the truth is that the US empire and the republic are imploding. Here is a long thread🧵on the profound systemic problems:
1. Crumbling Infrastructure & Decaying Towns
Bridges, dams, railways, highways, metro... much of it is decades old and crumbling.
And the decay has spread like cancer. Thousands of towns -- once flourishing, like Gary, Indiana -- across the US have turned into depressing ghost towns. No jobs, no people, no hospitals, no schools, and sometimes not even a grocery store -- this is the reality in many towns in middle America.
Below are two shocking videos:
Dying towns all across the US -- from Ohio to Arkansas, Oregon to West Virginia...
2. Homelessness, Drug Addiction and Death of Despair
Thanks to de-industrialization of America and predatory financial capitalism, bottom 50% of the US are stuck with low-wage jobs and poverty. They have barely $1,000 in savings.
Homelessness is at a record level in 2023; and drug addiction has been on the rise for two decades.
Suicide rate in USA = 3x China.
Every year, whopping 100,000+ Americans are dying from drug overdose. That's twice the number of deaths during entire Vietnam War.
Some sociologists call this unique American phenomenon the “deaths of despair.”
3. Disintegration of Families and Individuals
Thanks to social engineering that started in the 1950s, US elites have been dismantling traditional institutions like marriage, family and churches.
The grotesque manipulation of children only foretells a miserable future generation.
It's no wonder that tens of millions of Americans are on psychotropic drugs like antidepressants.
For every prime-age American man who’s unemployed and looking for a job, there are FOUR prime-age American men who are unemployed but NOT looking for a job!
Worst stats since Great Depression!
When it comes to health, America is a very sick nation.
75% of the population have serious weight problems — obese (43%) and overweight (32%). Of the obese, 10% are "morbidly obese."
Chronic illnesses are astronomical. Basically, much of the population is dependent on lifelong medications, thanks to fake from Big Pharma and food corporations.
Slavery through another mode.
Violence
The U.S. has also become a violent society. From mass shootings to everyday violence, people have lost the sense of humanity.
There are countless videos on social media of Americans viciously beating up one another, often times in settings that are supposed to be safe — like schools, colleges, malls, restaurants, trains and even airports.
Thug nation.
The violence is also reflected on America's foreign policy.
Brainwashed masses are always willing to support perpetual wars, even with nuclear powers like Russia.
Anti-China fear and loathing is the new mental illness in the USA.
However, US elites have no constructive solution to improve their own country.
Instead, the plan to prolong the American Century is dependent on bringing down others -- Russia, China, BRICS etc.
Americans think they will be able to start a controlled WW3 to bring in a great reset that will save the petrodollar and the US hegemony.
Lies and Illogical Propaganda
One day, Americans shout in glee how China is collapsing. Next day, they cry about China taking over the world.
Every day is a day of lies -- continuous and irrational.
There's no critical thinking. There's no philosophical or spiritual ideas. Just crude propaganda, hatred, and warmongering.
It's no wonder the country is deeply polarized. Could there be a civil war? Possible although not probable. The deep state will simply arrest people like Trump and intimidate the masses into submission.
All empires fall. The cycles of history cannot be stopped, especially when the ruling class is arrogant, greedy, predatory and exploits its own people.
The American Empire is collapsing in a long-drawn process and dying by thousand cuts.
There will be a lot of misery and chaos in the zombie nation in the coming decade.
America, the most sophisticated empire. Yet, it will collapse like all others before.
Most narratives about China on the Western media are half-truths or blatant lies. So, it's not shocking there's an endless repetition of how China lacks "food security." Let's debunk:
