'As many people, as soon as possible': Texas Congressman on Biden's border plan

'They're relying on our short memories — five, seven years they [illegal border crossers] will have some sort of privileges, benefits on the public dole, or jobs or voting rights,' Congressman @RepKeithSelf told Rebel News.

This report comes from Quemado, Texas, where a convoy of vehicles rolled into the area to support Governor Greg Abbott in his fight to defend the U.S. border from a flood of illegal migrants entering the country.

While we were there, we had the opportunity to speak with Congressman Keith Self, a Republican who was a former judge in the state.

We asked Congressman Self why he thought President Joe Biden and Democrats were accepting of mass illegal migration.

"Well they're fairly open about it," Self says. "They want as many people to cross as soon as possible, and they're relying on our short memories — five, seven years they [illegal border crossers] will have some sort of privileges, benefits on the public dole, or jobs or voting rights."

The issue is becoming less partisan as more Americans become aware of the situation, the congressman tells @RebelNews_USA.

"Listen, the illegal immigrants get to ask where they want to go. They're moved into the interior, according to the border patrol," the congressman explained. "They're asking to go to the blue cities, the sanctuary cities. So that's why sanctuary cities are starting to cry uncle."

The influx of migrants to major cities like New York, he says, are waking people up to the crisis. Although Texas gets the blame for sending migrants to these cities, Self says the Biden administration is responsible for sending about 80% of the migrants to these areas.

"I do not believe that most Democrats support illegal immigration," he says, noting "they understand these folks are going to do two things: they are going to work for jobs that are lower end, and they are going to take public welfare, they're going to take public benefits."

The former judge says accounts of mass quantities of drugs coming across the border is not hyperbole: "It happens every single day. We know that enough fentanyl is coming across the border in the last year to kill every single person on the face of earth."

When it comes to President Biden, Self says "he needs to start enforcing the law. He's the chief executive, he's got every law, he's got all the money he needs. He needs to do it."

Instead, the congressman says the president "doesn't care about the law, he doesn't care about the border. He doesn't care about Congress. We're not going to give him any more money, we're not going to give him a new law, a new policy. He needs to enforce the laws that are on the books today."
.@lincolnmjay interviews Texas Republican Congressman Keith Self about President Joe Biden's border plan, which has led to millions of illegal crossings and is straining resources not just in border states but across the country.

We found him: The alleged smoke bomber — and his shocking links to Antifa inside Canada’s military

Mark Carney’s Liberal government appears to be employing Antifa extremists inside federal institutions — even within our national defence system.

At Rebel News, we did what the Montreal police should have done. We launched a reward campaign to identify and track down the thug who thought he could get away with attacking a Christian worship service with incendiary smoke bombs.

Not only did we find him — but what we uncovered may expose one of the most alarming national security breaches in recent Canadian history.

The alleged smoke bomber is Gabriel Lepage, an employee of the Longue-Pointe military base in Montreal, working directly under the Department of National Defence.

Is that why he knew how to handle incendiary devices and weapons? What kind of training is being handed out inside Canada’s military that could prepare someone to carry out this kind of attack?

Our investigation uncovered what appear to be strong ties between Lepage and Antifa radicals — links that make this story even more concerning. Antifa in Canada’s Defence Department?

Antifa is not just a fringe ideology. It’s a dangerous, extremist network willing to use violence to advance its agenda. That’s why President Donald Trump officially declared Antifa a terrorist organization.

But here in Canada, Mark Carney’s Liberal government appears to be employing Antifa extremists inside federal institutions — even within our national defence system. And worse, shielding them from accountability.

According to tips we received, Lepage’s colleagues were well aware of the viral videos showing the church attack. Our sources told us that Lepage allegedly even met with his superiors about it. Yet no one contacted the police. Instead, he quietly went on a nearly two-month leave.

When I confronted Gabriel Lepage directly, I asked him about these allegations. His response? He refused to answer, sneering that “Rebel News are not journalists.”

During the entire exchange, Lepage repeatedly texted on his phone. Moments later, a masked thug appeared out of nowhere and aggressively told us to 'Get the f*ck out' while asking his 'buddy' to follow him.

Then a bit later, two other masked Antifa thugs showed up on bicycle and one of them physically attacked me, violently grabbing for my GoPro strapped around my neck. The camera was ripped off and dropped to the ground.

A woman with greenish hair arrived with a white car and seems to have helped them to leave the premises. Ask yourself: was Lepage summoning Antifa to attack us and to help him?

Shockingly, the police never arrived — even after claiming a patrol car was on the way. Instead, I was the one threatened with arrest, accused of “harassment” for daring to investigate a man allegedly tied to a violent hate crime.

According to my sources, after our interaction with Lepage, the Department of National Defence held a meeting warning employees not to leak information about this to the media.

But imagine if the target had been different. What if it wasn’t a Christian church attacked, but a mosque? Would authorities have buried the story then?

When I later returned to film my introduction outside the Longue-Pointe base, a private security agent from National Defence crossed the street, appearing to take a photo of me — though he later denied it.

I sent emails to the Longue-Pointe base, the Department of National Defence, the Minister of National Defence, and the Union. I asked them directly if Gabriel Lepage — the man linked to the church attack — is indeed their employee.

I also asked them to confirm whether Lepage met with supervisors about the incident, as my sources told me. I gave them 24 hours to respond. At the time of this publication, none of them replied.

This story deserves international attention. If Antifa radicals are embedded within our national defence institutions, shielded by unions and protected by a woke government, then this isn’t just about a church attack — it’s about a systemic national security failure.

Gabriel Lepage allegedly threw two smoke bombs into a church — an act that could amount to both hate crimes and mischief under the Criminal Code. Yet he’s still free, working in a sensitive federal institution.

Meanwhile, the SPVM investigation is still ongoing. They have our statements. We’ll keep pressing for answers. Because if the government won’t hold extremists to account, we will.
Not only did we find him — but what we uncovered may expose one of the most alarming national security breaches in recent Canadian history.

Amish community fined $400,000 for failing to download ArriveCan app

@EzraLevant reports from Chatsworth, Ontario, where the Trudeau Liberals' bureaucrats have targeted an Amish community with massive, punitive fines for failing to use the ArriveCan travel app — despite the Amish not using smartphones, let alone applications.

Last night on The Ezra Levant Show, Ezra reveals how Ontario’s Amish community is under siege, facing unprecedented fines and legal hurdles due to their refusal to comply with digital mandates. Here's why this is a travesty.

In the serene countryside of Chatsworth, a community of Amish farmers lives as if in the 18th century, adhering strictly to their faith and traditions.

Their simple way of life — without electricity, telephones, or the internet — sets them apart from the rest of the modern world. Yet, this peaceful community is now grappling with a problem no one would have expected: a heavy-handed government bent on enforcing digital compliance.

The Amish, originally from Europe, found refuge in North America, escaping persecution in countries like the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland.

They settled in regions like Pennsylvania in the United States, and Canada, where they could live according to their beliefs. Hollywood has often romanticized the Amish way of life, as seen in the Harrison Ford movie Witness, which highlighted their detachment from modern society. However, the reality is far from idyllic, especially now, as the community faces a new form of persecution.

The problem began with the Canadian government's enforcement of the ArriveCan app during the COVID-19 pandemic. This app was mandatory for anyone entering Canada, requiring travellers to submit their health information digitally.

The Amish, however, do not use smartphones, let alone apps. They also have religious exemptions from vaccinations, making the use of such technology unnecessary and intrusive for them. Yet, despite these clear exemptions, the government insisted on compliance, leading to severe penalties.

The result? The Amish community in Chatsworth has been slapped with nearly $400,000 in fines for not using the ArriveCan app. This is a community that doesn’t use electricity, let alone digital applications.

The fines were not just a bureaucratic oversight — they were a targeted action. The government even went so far as to place liens on their properties, effectively freezing their ability to obtain loans and transfer land titles within families. These punitive measures have left the Amish community in a state of shock and despair.

Imagine being a farmer in need of a loan to buy cattle, only to be told that your property has a lien on it because of fines related to an app you cannot even use.

This situation is not just an attack on the Amish economy; it’s a direct assault on their religious freedoms. The government’s actions have created an uneven playing field, where a community that lives without modern conveniences is being punished for not participating in a digital system. It’s a blatant case of bureaucratic bullying, and it’s happening right under our noses.

Fortunately, The Democracy Fund has stepped in. They’ve begun taking up the cases of these Amish families, working to overturn the unjust fines and remove the liens placed on their properties. However, the road ahead is long and fraught with challenges, especially given the unique nature of the Amish community’s way of life.

The Amish may not fight back themselves — they are pacifists by nature — but they have welcomed the help of others who see the injustice in what’s happening.

This is not just a fight for the Amish; it’s a fight for religious freedom and the right to live according to one’s beliefs without government interference.

It’s time to stand with the Amish and ensure that their way of life, so different yet so enriching to the fabric of our society, is protected from unwarranted government intrusion.
Donate to help pay this Amish community's legal fees

A small, peaceful Amish community in Ontario has been hit with nearly $400,000 in COVID fines because they didn’t comply with the government’s ArriveCAN app during the pandemic.

These fines aren’t just numbers on paper — they’ve severely impacted the lives of these Amish families. But their livelihoods and religious freedoms are now at stake, and they need us to stand with them.

The Democracy Fund (@TDF_Can) has agreed to take on their case, but they need your support. Please chip in a donation right here to contribute to their legal fund. Your donation will go directly to providing legal representation to fight these unjust fines.
