I purchased 2 #ElectoralBonds in April 2018 through which I found out that there are Unique Hidden Alphanumeric no.

Now we all know that there are unique Hidden alphanumeric nos. on the bonds. My story proved it. Please see the attachments.

Till then the government spoke about anonymity, but after my story, the Fin Min accepted the existence of these nos. on #ElectoralBonds . In it's press release dated 17 April 2018, "“These include a random serial number invisible to the naked eye”

It seems to be that I forgot about the 3rd Bond which I bought in 2020 during the Assembly elections. This is the reason why I was surprised when my name came up in the 2020 list.

The SC asked #SBI today whether it does audit trail through nos.
In Nov 2019, I wrote an article for the Quint based on RTI docus. SBI said
a. "Without serial no. on the EB there will be no Audit Trail available for internal control and reconciliation."

c. Stock verification without serial number at start and end of day at the Authorised branches will be difficult. "

The Finance Ministry allowed,
"Bank may be allowed to put a serial number on the bonds to avoid complication for the banks...Bank may be advised to keep information highly confidential to prevent its leaking in any way."

#ElectoralBonds scheme is a financial instrument to make political donation. It was enacted as #Money Bill. The scheme was introduce to keep the names of the donors anonymous.

The petition filed in the #SupremeCourt emphasis on why Electoral Bonds does not fit into the category of Money Bill. Hence it should be struck down on the ground that it is unconstitutional.

I took a deep dive into the information available through #RTI & shared by the Centre on #vaccine supplied by the manufacturers.
The no. of supplied vaccine doses to States/UTs by Centre is almost 7 cr doses more than no. of procured doses. How? Please read the thread.

The RTI reply received by transparency activist (Retd) @CommodoreBatra on 2 & 7 May reveal that the Govt of India placed an order of 18.6 crore vaccine doses in its first TWO orders, which is till end of April 2021.

The FIRST order:
The Centre ordered 6.6 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccine through PM CARES FUND. Of which, 5.6 crore doses were of #Covishield and 1 crore doses were of #Covaxin .

There was an Official Secrets Act case against me for doing a story. And that case was quashed in April 2019. Then why is it even being discussed just before the PCI Elections?

A PDF file has been circulated with all kinds of misinformation about me. Never thought journalists can stoop to this level just for winning PCI Elections. #Shame!
