अर्जुन उवाच
कथं भीष्ममहं संख्ये द्रोणं च मधुसूदन ।
इषुभिः प्रतियोत्स्यामि पूजार्हावरिसूदन ।।

gurūnahatvā hi mahānubhāvān śreyo bhoktuṃ bhaikṣyamapīha loke ।
hatvārthakāmāṃstu gurūnihaiva bhuñjīya bhogān rudhirapradigdhān ।।
हत्वार्थकामांस्तु गुरूनिहैव भुञ्जीय भोगान् रुधिरप्रदिग्धान् ।।

मधुसूदन - destroyer of demon madhu, अरिसूदन - destroyer of foes with cakrayudha, पूजार्हौ - fit to be worshipped, भीष्मम् - bhīṣma, द्रोणं च - and droṇa, संख्ये - in battle, कथं - how, इषुभिः - with arrows, अहं - I, प्रतियोत्स्यामि - battle against
महानुभावान् - great repute, गुरून - acharyas, अहत्वा - without killing, इह - in this world, भैक्ष्यम् - begging, श्रेयो हि - is it not better?, अर्थकामान् - out of desire in wealth, गुरून - acharyas, हत्वा - kill, इहैव - in this world, रुधिरप्रदिग्धान् - blood-stained
भोगान् - wealth, भुञ्जीय - how can I enjoy?
Arjuna spoke..
Madhusudhana, my acharyas drona & bhisma are to be worshiped. How can I battle them with arrows?
Is it not better to beg for my living in this world without killing these acharyas of great repute?

Out of desire for wealth, if I kill them, how can I enjoy that blood-stained wealth?
Usage of arisudhana shabda is 2 ways. One is destroyer of foes & another denotes ari as cakra & hence destroyer of foes with cakrayudha
Arjuna is implicitly addressing Krishna as arisudhana, madhusudhana. It means, even Krishna is only killing foes & not his acharyas (santIpini)

K - Arjuna, biksa (begging) is meant only for brahmanas. You are kshatriya. So even begging is a sin

K - Why are talking as if you are a renowned expert in dharma-sastra. Even great mahans find it very difficult. Has not your brother yudhistra said
'dharmasya tatvam nihitam guhāyām | mahā jano yena gata: sa panthā ||'

[dharma is a very very subtle stuff found deep in the heart-cave of men. Only great mahans realize & understand it. Citizens should just follow their elders in this respect]
