Spent yesterday trying to make the AI generated nude portraits look more photographically realistic with cycleGAN - the results are alright so far; I really hope that it'll start hallucinating more instead of just changing the surface color/texture

Woah - twitter like, *instantly* flagged these as being sensitive;

With the original ai generated nude portraits it only flagged a small portion of them after a few days.

Does this mean I'm doing something right?

dont know if I'm a fan of the "fuzzyness" that cycleGAN introduces, though...

Finally starting to get some more results with hallucinated features.

I honestly don't know how much I like the results - it makes the generations look too much like porn.

I want the generations to resemble a painted and non-sexual study of the human figure instead of these...

I really feel like a machine perspective of the human figure through a series of generated paintings is much more interesting than getting a computer to generate stuff that looks like it could be an obscene photo

I'll still try more experiments with cycleGAN, but different ones.

I really like the texture and aesthetic of this painting more than opposed to the psuedo-photorealism feel in the post above... Think I'm going to try and shift the focus of the project back towards paintings.
