अव्यक्तोऽयमचिन्त्योऽयमविकार्योऽयमुच्यते ।
तस्मादेवं विदित्वैनं नानुशोचितुमर्हसि ।।

avyakto'yamacintyo'yamavikāryo'yamucyate ।
tasmādevaṃ viditvainaṃ nānuśocitumarhasi ।।

अयं - this Atma, अव्यक्त: - doesn’t belong to the destructible things, अयं - this Atma, अचिन्त्य​: - doesn’t possess any characteristics of destructible things, अयं - this Atma, अविकार्य​: - unchangeable, उच्यते - being spoken of,

तस्मात् - hence, एनं - this Atma, एवं - likewise, विदित्वा - know, अनुशोचितुम् - grieve,
न अर्हसि - don’t deserve

sharIra & it's nature is known to us through indriyas (5 senses). Atma cannot be known by it..

That which is known through indriyas is known as 'vyakta' & that which is not, is known as 'avyakta'..

Hence this Atma is vilakshana (different) from Deha.

Atma is not made of elements vyaktas nor is It susceptible to changes/decay. If you know Atma-svarupa Oh Arjuna, then you don't need to grieve about it in battlefield!!
