In 2021 the PRESTO research team received funding from the @NIH to examine the #COVID19 vaccine and #menstruation. Our latest paper, "COVID-19 vaccination and menstrual cycle characteristics: A prospective cohort study" has now been published in the Journal "Vaccine" (1/5) Among PRESTO participants who were unvaccinated at enrollment, we compared menstrual cycle characteristics before and after COVID-19 vaccination. We found that cycle lengths were ∼ 1 day longer in the cycle after vaccination but returned to normal within 1-2 cycles. (2/5)

New findings on #CovidVaccination and #Fertility!

Using the @BUPRESTOStudy, we show no association between #CovidVaccination in either partner and fertility among couples #TryingToConceive

A 🧵 on our new study in @AmJEpi #EpiTwitter (1/12)
doi.org/10.1093/aje/kw… We enrolled couples who were #TryingToConceive without fertility treatment. Female and male partners completed questionnaires on lifestyle, health, and #covid19 infection and vaccination.
