In 2021 the PRESTO research team received funding from the @NIH to examine the #COVID19 vaccine and #menstruation. Our latest paper, "COVID-19 vaccination and menstrual cycle characteristics: A prospective cohort study" has now been published in the Journal "Vaccine" (1/5)
Among PRESTO participants who were unvaccinated at enrollment, we compared menstrual cycle characteristics before and after COVID-19 vaccination. We found that cycle lengths were ∼ 1 day longer in the cycle after vaccination but returned to normal within 1-2 cycles. (2/5)
