It seems wherever Wagner has an interest, the pen of 'independent' journalist Alessandro Sansoni follows. Sometimes you have to look at what's not said rather than what is. How does an @alesansoni article discussing mercenaries in Libya not mention Russia or Wagner's significant presence???

On 29 Oct, 6 right-leaning Italian academics & journalists hosted a conference titled 'Ukraine, failed State & Europe'. The title, contributors & narratives leave no doubt that the purpose was pro-Russia messaging & the content is not worthy of further attention. The question is how a glorified video call between low-level figures gained such disproportionate coverage on Italian news sites? On 30 Oct, articles appeared on a network of 17 sites containing a link to the video which received just 11 views, hardly breaking news!

If disinformation was an Olympic sport Russia would win gold or be banned for cheating. Having previously identified a string of right-wing European publications spreading coordinated anti-Navalny messages, we find they've stooped even lower targeting the Olympic movement itself. Image Russia was found to be running a statewide systematic doping program, resulting in Russian athletes being banned from competing under their national flag during #Tokyo2020. The sanction means that Russia & it's useful Nazis now have the IOC in their sights.

Since annexing Crimea, the Russian disinformation machinery has repeatedly characterized Ukraine as a nation of neo-nazi thugs. In an ironic twist, we have found convincing evidence that Russia may be engaging with German far-right figures to spread their propaganda into Europe. Software normally used to identify plagiarizers & college cheats, identified a series of linked articles with questionable authorship. All contained a narrative casting doubt on Navalny's poisoning & featured quotes from low-level European politicians & journalists.
