Communities of faith & third-sector charitable organisations have filled the void in the lives of the people & along with frontline workers, have provided relief to many. There are now 656 active cases with 22 residents hospitalised, 5 in intensive care & 2 deceased since the Sat update 🙏🏾 (2/6) Of the 69 new cases, 0 cases are imported, 33 cases are local transmission with a known contact, & the other 36 cases are currently classified as under investigation with no immediate link to travel or local cases. There have also been 48 recoveries since the last update.

An individual who attended the funeral of Charles Henry Eugene Eberley on Saturday, 28 November 2020 at Malabar has since tested positive for COVID-19. We are advising anyone who attended this event to call the COVID-19 hotline 444-2498 to arrange to be tested on Sunday afternoon. In the meantime, we are advising individuals who attended to quarantine from others outside their household until they further advised.

(1/5) Many in #Bermuda are concerned about possible clusters of #COVID19. Please rest assured that the @DoHBermuda team that has effectively managed the Pandemic is acting out of an abundance of caution to ensure that anyone who may have possibly been exposed is quarantined. (2/5) Please note that "Quarantine" means there is a possibility that someone may have been exposed. This is a precaution so that if the quarantined person does eventually test positive they won't transmit the virus to others. People who are Quarantined have not tested positive.
