UPDATE: Mask requirements have been reinstated in hospitals in Illinois, Massachusetts, and New Jersey. Hospitals in several other states including North Carolina and Washington are also considering reinstating their mask requirements due to the rise in COVID-19 cases.

It is wrong to ask people to unmask, even briefly. COVID-19 is airborne. There have been several documented cases of COVID-19 transmission happening after being exposed for only a few seconds. People have the right to protect themselves by wearing a mask continuously indoors. 🧵

We're already seeing large #COVID outbreaks in schools across the US in the first few weeks due to few mask mandates and other COVID prevention efforts!
