thoughts-over the course of my life I've been interviewed for many jobs- had the opportunity to interview others, NOT once did I ever find that putting down the opponent was a skill that was admirable. A politician is no different. The question is are they qualified for the job? Voting in a democracy is NOT a beauty contest, not a who can do the best #armpitfarts or #beerguzzling or who has the best one-liners or biggest bully friends-if You want big muscles go to the gym and work hard

I'm rather pissed to learn about Bill C47 passed June 2023-#naturalhealthIsFood not drugs. While the rw were hyping people with Smith's suggesting we could replace allopathic med with naturopaths, I missed this, We need BOTH, we need food&pharma, we need choice. #LoblawsScandal Our health as humans, require emergency care and maintenance, there are quacks in every industry but that doesn't make ALL of them quacks. We see it in politics, business etc. Health Canada needs to ensure food is safe, natural products are safe/labelled but not call them drugs.

The whole point of Confederation was to ensure people all over Canada, not becoming a colony of the USA, could enjoy a good quality of life, #UniversalHealthcare shared resources, shared Military services and national police, shared disaster programs-no have not prov.1/9 I'm tired of the cons trying to tell us that some of us deserve more, we don't, and in AB we've had majority con gov for 40 yrs, they spend our $ on corp buddies, then blame the feds when we don't have enough to fund social programs! #Enough!2/9

I'm voting for the NDP in Alberta this election so that our granddaughters do not have to fight the fights of our grandmothers...for the right to use their own name, to publish books, to paint a painting under their own name and be able to earn a living selling their work 1/9 So they can decide the career they want to pursue without duress.
So they don't have to cross their legs to try and hold back labour while someone produces a credit card to pay the doctor like my mother had to do for the first 3 pregnancies 2/9
