@chrissyfarr It's more than burnout.
We go into medicine to help others but often signif student debt results.
Time on EMRs take us away from patient care.
Mental health issues are stigmatized as a weakness.
Administrators make us see more patients in less time. Autonomy is taken from us.
1/n@chrissyfarr And then a global pandemic hits. The administrators and the government have not prepared.
There is not enough PPE. We know that we are sitting ducks.
Hospitals are understaffed and patient wards are swelling.
Awful heart-wrenching decisions on who can be treated must be made.

✅The best way to prevent flu is by getting a flu vaccine each year.
