The President has signed and issued the Executive Order No. 2 of 2023 on the Organization of The Government of the Republic of Kenya which replaces Executive Order No. 1 of 2023 released in January 2023.

Mainly to incorporate changes in law that affected functions and agencies, the recent restructuring of MDAs and the reshuffle.

Without going into the reshuffle and restructure and comparing E O. No. 1 and 2 , what has shifted in the placement of functions and agencies? What remains unchanged? My quick analysis. A thread 🧵

1. Ministries that have not been affected in their entirety include:
- Ministry of Roads and Transport.
- Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development.
- Ministry for Cooperatives and MSMEs.
- Ministry for Petroleum and Energy.
- Ministry of EAC, The ASALs and Regional Development.
- Ministry of Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs.
