[1/4] Last night c.25 works of one of the most famous 🇺🇦 painters, Maria Prymachenko, were destroyed - source: @MFA_Ukraine.
They were housed in Ivankiv Museum of Local History, which was burned down during the 🇷🇺 invasion on Ukraine.
Maria Prymachenko, Flowers for Peace, 1965 [2/4] Maria Prymachenko was a Ukrainian folk painter, representative to naive art. She usually made gouache or watercolor paintings. Her art is rooted in the Ukrainian folk legends and fairy-tales, often depicting nature and imaginary creatures.
