*Thread* On the anniversary of the #1953coup in #Iran, I had a quick look at how Israeli papers at the time covered Mosaddeq's ouster. The morning after, it was on the front page of most papers:

Kol Haam (Voice of the Nation) called it a "Reactionary Military Coup in Iran", saying "American imperialists" were behind Mosaddeq's replacement Zahedi. It also alleged that Zahedi was a "long-time collaborator with the Nazis". 2/
