Hi Mina, the answer is straightforward.
Your statement that "the vaccinated are still just as likely to infect others" is scientifically wrong. Vaccinated persons infect others less (<) than unvaccinated persons. 1/5 CDC: ⬆️evidence that fully vaccinated are < likely than unvaccinated to acquire or transmit to others. However, the risk for breakthrough infection in fully vaccinated cannot be completely eliminated when there is continued community transmission. cdc.gov/coronavirus/20… 2/5
