I just want to be clear that those of us that are on the ground, working in health care and are public school parents (and may even be serving on school boards) are not advocating for a permanent shutdown of schools. What we are advocating for is for: /1 (1) mandated masking, KN95/N95 provided for everyone for free
(2) free testing, & easy access; free in-home kits sent to homes and schools
(3) appropriate ventilation (this has not changed w variants
(4) culturally responsive vax campaigns & access to vax, homes and schools /2
