1/4 I feel another special episode of @libyamatterspod coming looking at the perils of a "cut and paste" approach to mediation by @UNSMIL lacking contextual understanding of the situation in #Libya peppered with a good dose of mansplaining on how the international system "works". 2/4 Confusing reopening agreed points and questions outside the #LPDF's mandate with a "general debate" we are now left with 1.5 days to re-agree everything as everything has been put on the table and the opportunity to table more proposals appears to still be open.

1/6 #Libya: We are back in our meetings in the #LPDF. For those interested, I will reflect here on my experiences to the extent I am allowed to do so by the confines of the Code of Conduct.

2/6 Today we heard the suggestions of the Advisory Committee - there is much to discuss in the coming days but one thing that is clear is that we did not learn from our mistakes where it comes to eligibility criteria.
