🧵Any and every protest in any city or country could be labeled as illegal there are just so many bylaws that they can point to, and there are bad apples in every crowd, civilized democracy's understand that the people have a right to disagree with the government, (1/) In Canada however the voices of these protestors have been delegitimized by every echelon of the gov, instead of recognizing their demands and peacefully resolving this like usual they resort to silencing and smearing, not too long ago, in 2020 we had the rail blockades (2/)

I would need help understating how @Sante_qc is calculating the risk of the unvaccinated getting hospitalized compared to those double vaccinated.

For example in their chart Today they have it at "5,7" my calculation gets me to "1,94"

And I will explain how I get to that. 1/

Looking at the hospitalizations of Today:
We have 92 unvaccinated and 251 double vaccinated

In the population we have 1,269,562 unvaccinated and 6,710,828 double vaccinated

That means that for every 100k of the unvaccinated population we have ~7 hospitalized

We need an open and frank discussion, we can't have our attentions diverted, the fact of the matter is that "over 50% hospitalizations" are NOT amongst the unvaccinated >

cbc.ca/news/politics/… On the contrary the majority of hospitalizations are fully (by current definitions) vaccinated.

Yes it is true that the current data shows higher hospitalizations per 100k amongst the unvaccinated, that still means that if we reach 100% vaccination rates >

In Canada 76.87% are fully vaccinated, also in Canada 81.1% of cases are amongst the fully vaccinated.

You should know that by not vaccinating your children 0-19 you're exposing them to a disease that 0.0002089% of the pop. in that age group were killed from (17 out of 8,139,512).

Also, in that age group 0.0255052% were hospitalized "WITH" covid (2076) 2/4

Out of the 2076 kids ages 0-19 who were hospitalized 24 were admitted to the ICU, or 0.0002949% of the pop. in that age group (1.1560694% of total hospitalized in that age group ended up in hospital)
