It's not enough that Albertans enjoy the highest incomes in Canada.
It's not enough that they own the resources that generate these high incomes.
It's not enough that the corps that develop those resources enjoy preferential tax rates & receive impressive subsidies. /1
It's not enough that Albertans are taxed at a lower rate than many other provinces - - especially Quebec. Seriously, are you aware of how much higher their provincial tax rates are??
It's not enough that we pay the same federal income tax rate that every other Canadian pays./2

Just spoke with a guy who was passing by my office. He asked for directions to a convenience store. He told me he'd been hitchhiking last night, and when he couldn't get a ride, he decided to just sleep in the ditch since it was pretty nice out. /1
He was pretty comfortable there, but soon enough the RCMP stopped and picked him up. He objected to being picked up because he wasn't doing anything wrong, and they threw him in the drunk tank for the night. /2
