@jakesyma @BadMedicalTakes Mitigations to prevent labor dysfunction are often stupid simple.
Stuff like preventing melatonin suppression in hospitals by replacing outdated UV “blue” lights in birthing wards, for instance, lowers pain and increases strength of the feedback loop.
@Loubell888 @BryanKemper Why do you think that matters??
Women deserve access to meds, medical procedures, & surgery no matter what!
My friend had a wanted pregnancy & had to induce abortion bc her fetal tissues were not strong enough to survive & big government told her no. They wanted her to get sepsis
@Loubell888 @BryanKemper She already had kids & was excited about having more, but the doctors told her that her fetal cardiac cells were still functional, so she had to wait out “nature’s course” as if she were living in the damn stone age.
Women used to die in pregnancy ALL THE TIME before med care.
Think of this energy change as a soccer ball w a force towards a specific direction. This “pulls” naturally on atoms when they join together to make molecules.
Its based on the atoms’ electrons.

Sleeping beauty
is such a messed up story.
A baby girl is promised
to a boy,
as property for sex,
when she reaches sexual maturity.
Girl escapes, meets her future owner (unknowingly),
he grabs her arm several times, doesn’t leave her alone til she passively flirts back.
So she realizes stranger danger and refuses to tell him her name and runs home, but not before (in her sheltered naivety) inviting the rapey stranger TO HER HOUSE.
If we’re HONEST about momlife,
more women will be ready for it.
I believe
INFORMED CONSENT
is the key to getting the
right job candidates.
Momlife is unpaid labor.
@LMMammita@TheBasedTrinity To be clear:
I am smiling and happy when I’m NOT being elbowed in the gut/insulted/ignored/shushed/scolded for “making the wrong dinner”/screamed at for reminding the kid to brush/etc.
These are newer school-age kid struggles that I WELCOME
compared to the baby trenches! 😂

Right now the current battle we parents are having w a magnet charter school (read: private business)
is mitigation strategy for having no accredited teacher most of 2023.
We were mislead: the “new teacher” was NOT accredited or full time. It was a PT student teaching 3X wk 🧵
This affected the students in different ways. Lack of adult consistency caused the special ed kid to throw tantrums. The advanced students were now in daycare. Subs daily. They watched more pixar movies in school than we watched at home for the duration of 2023.
The HW stopped.

@hitman_S1@17AmericanTruth@IntenselyMeRN@SanchezKaela@to_discussion In order for a pregnancy to be viable, a lot of cards have to fall into place.
The egg and sperm must be functional w a chemical reaction strong enough to get positive feedbacks from other chemical reactions in the system. Genes must be compatible. Abortion keeps genes strong…
@hitman_S1@17AmericanTruth@IntenselyMeRN@SanchezKaela@to_discussion Even in young women,
abortion must happen naturally for good strong babies.
If women gestated every pregnancy, the gene pool would get weaker.
The old estimate used to be around 30% of pregnancy, which is why women are advised NOT to share pregnancy news til the second tri…

Was reminded today of a hospital birth I was lucky enough to attend. My friend was on her back during an unexpected muscle contraction while requesting to speak to a nurse who had turned up her pitocin on the IV without consent. 🧵
The nurse ignored her partners requests to turn the pitocin down (very painful meds that speed contractions), and changed the subject, picking up my friend’s forearm instead.
“What lovely tattoos” she strokes my friends arm w her manicured nails.
My friend was immediately upset

Had a dream there was a gas leak. Woke up to the smell of methane.
But immediately thought,
“I don’t hear the alarm…”
(Thinking of the carbon monoxide alarm in the living room😬)
I investigate.
Housemate had gas burner on high for 40 minutes cooking artichokes at 12:30am
Nobody was in the kitchen.
Timer had 9 minutes left.
I checked the water level,
they were boiling
off less than a cm.
Def would have burned if they waited for the timer.
But am proud they used a timer.
(I need an induction stovetop)

@trai_all@DanielA43161549@AnnLadenberger@bharris1968 My employer at the time had no accommodations for nursing mothers. We were expected to nurse behind a curtain next to tourists who fell down and bloodied their knees in first aid. When both beds were full of patients, we were not allowed to nurse there at all.
@trai_all@DanielA43161549@AnnLadenberger@bharris1968 The only other option was to sit on the floor of the break area’s bathroom next to the only outlet a few feet away from the toilet stalls, next to a dead cockroach we named George that was there for half a year. The door was loud and creaky, & every time it opened, milk stopped.

@VS_LoneWolf@mollyfleck@clhubes These are studies about pain killing techniques, not about the body’s natural birth reflex in the painless state. Where are all the studies about painless births?
A 14 person study and a textbook from 20 years ago about helping women who have birth pain
doesn’t help. @VS_LoneWolf@mollyfleck@clhubes Interesting commentary here.
Painful childbirth is an expectation.
A virtue even.
The daughters of Eve suffer more based on their expectations.
Is it MORAL to ‘LET’ women birth without pain or must they suffer
(for the myth)? #painlessbirth epublications.marquette.edu/cgi/viewconten…

@Deedledeeh@ambernoelle GURL if you wanna feel good afterwards get a doula and a midwife to help w the birth. Doctors tend to rush birth and that increases tearing. The perineum has evolved to stretch. The ONLY reason to shout PUSH at a person birthing is if the fetus is dying.
Birth is a reflex.
@Deedledeeh@ambernoelle Also make sure you read
all the Ina May Gaskin books.
And get as many prenatal massages as you can afford. Sometimes massage schools need ‘models’ and will give you free massages.

@Gialde@SiryjVovk@goblin_skreech@girlgeek_rva@resist_cynicism@jdgtranen There were no forced vaccines.
And also have you seen a needle four inches in diameter? I haven’t.
The forced movement of a 4 inch circle of your molecules is called physical trauma, and must be consensual or its assault. #ForcedBirth
Do you have any
questions about vaccines?
@Gialde@SiryjVovk@goblin_skreech@girlgeek_rva@resist_cynicism@jdgtranen The reason I keep bringing up the physical process of birth, is bc moving 4 square in. of your body out of the way, can kill you.
It causes permanent disability, long term healthcare costs, long healing periods away from work or family care issues. Can’t chase suicidal kids, etc

I’m remembering the time my cousin’s wife got pregnant w their 2nd. Their toddler was delighted w the prospect of becoming a BIG sister. But something went wrong, & the doctor pulled my cousin aside &
asked him in private,
Which would you rather save?
The wife or the baby?
Now,
my cousin is
NOT a psychopath. So he was naturally disgusted with that question. When he told me the story I was shocked they’d even ask that to a person’s husband? He made the joke that the doctor asked him for permission to kill his wife😅 Anybody remember the Arti joke?
I get to drink Barium today🙃

I’ve never used almond flour before, that I can remember 🤔 besides in making raw treats.
I just added some to a #CarrotCake
nuked pancake… err thing😄 🧵
Its not ALL almond flour,
I just didn’t wanna make more instant pancake mix,
and there wasn’t enough😂 #brekky#ClimateDiet
Goodness was in the world long before any middle eastern men wrote the bible. Some #mythos worship knowledge instead of demonizing it.
@SeanathanCory@walden4pa53@HoLichette@backtothewind0@BernieSanders One red flag for me as a little girl growing up w bible study was the way they dealt with questions. Why did they assume a deity crushed up a gold statue to poison water that made the whole town sick for revenge. Doesn’t a pathogen
make more sense?
They didn’t understand germs🤷🏻♀️

One day my friend came in to visit me when I was working back in the juice station at a raw food restaurant in the nice part of town. There was a wheatgrass juicer, a giant centrifuge juicer, and two vitamix blenders and fruit and veggies everywhere.
“I need your help” She sat.
“Want a juice?” I smiled.
“Yea, I need you to make me a parsley juice.”
“A shot?” I asked.
“No, a TALL glass. To the TOP.”
I raised my eyebrows, and headed to the walk-in fridge.
Grabbed like 10 bunches of parsley and fed them into the mastication juicer
til I filled the cup.
The brain can be convinced that voices are happening when they’re not, amputated limbs are present, physical impossibilities are real, and its all because of two trainable parts of our wiring: The subconscious and the logical processing center. 🧵 #Painless@albertaparent@PipSyyyv@Kaelwritesblog@mollyfleck@clhubes Some people need help w physical processes for birth and thats okay and good and normal and I’m thankful for #Science and the #medicalcommunity which makes assistance and even accessibility better for everybody.
