I've been doing a lot of thinking over the past week about whether I should go ahead and begin work on an autobiography next year. I kept coming up with fears about how people might respond. I realised that my first 25 years is basically a string of abuses against me. 1/
I realised this meant that if I write about this time in my life, I'm potentially picking a fight with everyone who abused me: school, family, community ie, everyone. I've been worried about repercussions. 2/

FFS, now Landr is telling me they 'think I might have borrowed my cover art'. They just make this shit up.
One of them is the same image I used in the release of the solo version through them. Wasn't a problem last time. I suppose I should just go along with their games and change the images and see if they come up with another pretend issue.

My son's father moved in with his new girlfriend 2 weeks before I gave birth right after he 'donated' his sperm to me to you know, stimulate labour. Men are generous to a fault.
This was way back when the gov was literally just introducing the Child Support Agency. Father told me if I went thru them I'd never get any child support. Gov told me it would be better than court. I never got a cent from CSA till I lobbied gov to introduce a compulsory minimum.

I just love the way SBS news is not explaining that the census is now being used to join a data across all portfolios (in it's pro census story). Because that's not a story, right?
I've never quite felt the same about the ABC news since their coverage of the 2016 census in which they didn't inform their audience that MAJOR changes to our census were being made. The Parl Inquiry critiqued the ABS but not the media for their role in keeping everyone ignorant!
Listened to this amazing concert while I was having a lie down. Still listening. I've fallen in love with the drum (wait till you hear the solo) and wind instrument. If you know what they are please share
This seems to be the wind instrument en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaval

I seem to be developing a love/hate relationship with Logic Pro. As a raw noob it seems to make complex things easy but the simplest things near impossible. I spend most of my time wanting to strangle it because I can't find the right or place the note where I want it.
Actually this is probably a truer picture

It's 4 years since the last census when the ABS de-anonymised the Australian census to get a key to join together our OTHER data across the agencies. The legislation to allow this has just been published in draft form - it's being run by Stuart Robert ausgov.info/index.php?Topi…

While the gov is moving as slow as possible to give rich beneficiaries a unique number to track them to the shell companies they hide behind, it is moving right ahead with plans to join all OUR gov data together using the unique number from the last census #AustralianValuestheguardian.com/australia-news…

Mind, I did wonder if I could rent/pay off a musical instrument rather than pay up front but realised my crowdfunded income would probably not be approved even though paying something off over time makes a lot more sense to me.
FB isn't losing any time LOL

Hang on, who benefits from the removal of responsible lending laws? #Auspol
ABC news is reporting home loans are going gangbusters so why do lending rules need to be loosened?

Interesting that people think I can just pick up and drop myself interstate or into rural settings to take advantage of the cheaper rent when I have not had a proper private rental in something like a decade, can't afford to run a car or travel & have no support network.
The reason I rent in the cities is because that's where the boarding houses are (mostly) and they don't require the same level of paperwork. I have no transport so I have to stay near public transport routes.

Thank you so much for the donation I received tonight. I could be moving very shortly so the donations are much needed & much appreciated. Also need to move my site to a dedicated server which means it won't have to compete for resources with other sites. Hoping I can swing it!🤞
I've been asked to look into a potential census 2021 issue so hopefully I'll have a bit to say on that in coming weeks in addition to republishing the web version of my #CensusFail survey so got a lot on, as usual. ausgov.info/censusfail/ind…

This article is why there was a backlash against the last census. Since then gov has been busy building the back end that will connect all your administrative data together based on your census form abc.net.au/news/2020-09-1…
