I pray you be wary,
Sixth of January.

When villains tread through gilded halls.

Many fascists broke through,
Intent on a coup.

A nation bled, but did not quite fall.

#RememberJanuary6th

#January6th Forget not of this
That January Sixth

A tyrant sought to
Seize the day

And he stood upon high
As he preached his big lie

He knew his oath
He had betrayed.

Quick thread for the uninitiated on why this should raise some eyebrows.

The TL;DR is that this man seems to be promoting the (untrue) narrative that white farmers in South Africa are being ethnically cleansed by their black countrymen. This narrative is popular among neo-nazis. "Boer" is the word for "farmer" in Afrikaans, the language of the white Dutch-descended minority of South Africa.

The word is now often used to refer specifically to white South African farmers, and to some is a cultural identity.

“Oh, so just because I reminisce about how people who opposed fascism were defeated in the 1930s and 1940s, that automatically makes me a Nazi?!” Over the last few years Proud Boys’ rhetoric has shifted more and more away from “antifa are the real fascists” and towards “we are straight-up fascists.”

Obviously they always were, but they’ve gotten progressively more brazen about it.

These are right-wing militia patches. ImageImage The first one is the Three Percenter logo, of course.

The second one is a bit tougher, but if one had to guess, it looks like a black and white version of the sovereign citizen flag with the Gadsden snake in the canton. ImageImageImage

Heads up to folks in New Hampshire:

Right-wing activist Samson Racioppi, noted for his work with Resist Marxism and as an organizer of the 'Straight Pride' parade in Boston, will be holding a rally in support of the Kenosha shooter tomorrow in Manchester, NH. Image According to the page, the event is sponsored by the American Guard, a far-right org founded by members of various neo-nazi skinhead gangs.

Many members of the AG have white supremacist tattoos and are former or current members of white nationalist groups. ImageImageImageImage

Tell you one thing; it’ll be clear to tell who’s who by comparing their reactions to Kenosha vs Portland.

It’ll be easy to tell who is interested in truth, and who is interested in only believing what they want to believe. Yes, this is intentionally ambiguous.

We’re going to see more far-right demos presented as ‘anti-pedophile protests’ b/c of Qanon -
Not unlike how groups such as the EDL or Britain First hold events in the UK that focus on opposing ‘Muslim grooming gangs’ as a way to push xenophobia. This means that when people show up to oppose Qheads and Proud Boys, it’ll be important to make clear to observers that they do so out of opposition to far-right death cults, not out of support for child sex trafficking.

(Never thought that sentence would ever be typed)

(Thread) One of our people attended a #BLM rally at the Alamo in San Antonio on Saturday.

While there, they snapped a couple photos of Boog Boys/Militiamen, who stood guard around the cenotaph to prevent protesters from vandalizing it. ImageImageImageImage The man in the black ski mask and blue shirt (3rd photo) is wearing the unit patch of the US Army 25th Infantry Division, which is based in Hawaii.

We can also see a couple Confederate patches and a SIEGE mask. ImageImageImageImage

This one's only worth fourteen. Damn, beat us to it.

Members of the New England 'Nationalist Social Club' spotted at a pro-police rally organized by Super Happy Fun America, the folks behind the Boston Straight Pride parade.

NSC was founded by neo-Nazi Chris Hood (bottom right) after he was kicked out of Patriot Front. Also; Chris, my man, we've all been experimenting with new hairstyles during lockdown, but this just ain't your look.

The red triangle is not and never has been used by anti-fascist activists. Also, remember how a bunch of people ironically put "ANTIFA terrorist" in their bio after Trump's tweet?

DO NOT start ironically using "🔻" to virtue signal your opposition to fascism. That would lend credibility to their bullshit claim.

THREAD: Americans who deserve statues/military bases/memorials more than Confederate generals.

The folks whining about the removal of Confederate statues always say it's "erasing history."

So hows about we honor some American history that's worth celebrating. Image Deborah Sampson (1760-1827)

Pretty much America's 'Mulan.' She disguised herself as a man in order to serve in the Continental Army during the American Revolution.
She held the rank of private in the 4th Massachusetts Regiment, Light Infantry Company. Image

The word "antifa" is not a noun. It is not the name of a single, monolithic organization.

The word 'antifa' is an adjective. Like "anti-government."

It is can apply to non-violent activism, not just militant/revolutionary groups. Because the word "antifa" is an adjective, the legal categorization of any so-called "antifa" activism as terroristic effectively gives the gov't the ability to label any group/person as such.
